As I progress in my way of DM for my group i wanted to use some of the AI content to spice things up. As i read the book here at DnD Beyond, I remembered that there was a Failed Merchant bg i wanted to take a look at but in the character builder it wont show up. :/
So i checked more and non of the AI content is showing up in my character builder options... no spells, no BG and no items either. BUT i can read it in the Sourcebook section.
I'm POSITIVE I claimed the sourcebook when it was free and i sync-ed my content 10-15 times as of now.
Am I missing something or there is a bug with my account?
Checked the "https://www.dndbeyond.com/account/marketplace" and at the Current Product Licenses i don't see the AI, but then how can i access it and read and stuff? I can even open the character pages, same with the item pages, but cant add them to my inventory... Hope I get help
Please make sure you have enabled "Noncore D&D Content" on the options page of the character builder.
wait, has Acq Inc officially been made "noncore" now rather than core?
cause I still remember people yelling about needing an Acq Inc toggle...

Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"

If you aren't seeing the Product License on your account but can read through the source, then it sounds like you have access to Acq Inc via content sharing.
In order to access shared content on a character, that character sheet must be joined to the campaign where the content is being shared with you.

Yeeeah, its seems like it. Strange. Im 100% sure I claimed it. No problem. Thanks, my problem is solved. You can close the thread.
I have the same problem - did the book get somehow unlicenced? I can only find the info that I "own" it - yet cannot find the book to use - which I am not happy about since I did pay for it
Is D&D Beyond still working to incorporate AI into the character builder? I see magic items etc. But still no way to check that your character is a Cartographer, etc. And no way way to track your franchise rank and the benefits that you get from that.

I can access the book and it's contents without trouble, so it has not been unlicensed. I can access the "book" itself by going to Sources, then clicking on "View All Sources". I typed "acq" in the search bar on that page and found it without difficulty.
I could also access the Verdan race in the character builder.

I doubt it. DDB has been through a lot of changes in ownership, personnel, etc. since this book was released. And new core books are being released this year. So I have very little hope that any of the remaining issues for previous books will be resolved. The exception I could see would be changes necessary for those new core books that would also allow previous issues to be fixed/addressed.
Thanks for your reply - I does not show within the sources (still not), however, I friend, who could access it (funny enough through the content sharing I have enabled) has sent me the link - that worked. Weired but it is a fix for my problem. Thanks again for your effort.

was it ever “core“?

Do either of those approaches work for you?

That's what I was afraid of. AI has been out there awhile with no recent changes.
