Having an issue where my uploaded character portrait isn't showing up in our campaign screen. It wouldn't be too much of an issue, but our DM heavily relies on these images to jump between PC's of he needs to inspect us.
The Character portrait on the campaign preview screen and on the campaign screen is the blank default one (not black or missing), where the portrait on the character sheet shows up correctly.
This issue was replicated over different browsers on different devices over a period of two days.
Ya I’m getting the same thing but only for one character. It’s been on the campaign for two weeks and shows on the character sheet but not on the campaign screen where ther other players would be able to see it. Did you find a solution?
I am running into the same issue and can't seem to find a way to fix it.
I tried switching form file type, but that does not seem to fix it, after that I tried a basic portrait given by DND Beyond itself and even that does not work.
I've done a few things to solve this issue but not sure which one actually fixes it. First I lowered the resolution/size of the photo I was using. after uploading it I cleared both cookies and cache from my browser. Then after reloading vuala it works!

Yours is probably related to this thread that has been discussed in depth:
Once I implemented Jay_Lane's solution, I have not had an issue on any computer I have set that up on. I still have this issue when browsing DDB on my phone since I've not looked into a Chrome - Android solution.
I had this issue and found the solution. I resize the same photo from 100% resolution to 60%. This lowered the picture size then when i upload and refreshed it showed straight away. Just posting this just in case anyone needs it.
I had a similar issue - uploaded character portrait and the custom portrait appears on character sheet but not campaign. Issue was fixed when I unassigned that character and then reclaimed the character.
I had tried both reducing resolution and resizing to a smaller pixel 150x150 portrait.
I had also tried clearing browser cache. Portrait did not become visible on campaign until I performed the unassign > reassign action.
