I come here to express my utter hate to your system of verification D&D beyond. IT SUCKS, you press and hold the daam button and it just resets and never verifies anything.
I sometimes have to stay for minutes just doing the same freaking thing until it works.
I already have my java script activated and cookies too, and I AM NOT A ******* ROBOT.
The elves are very upset about the "verify you are a human" and this is what comes of it.
Dark Elf magic.

What are you even doing to get this? I haven't had to verify anything in years....
I had to do it when I switched phones a couple of weeks ago (couldn't be sure if it was DDB or another site, but since someone else is complaining it's about DDB, it makes sense my experience was with DDB). After something like ten times pressing the button for a.few.seconds each time I gave up and insisted that it give me another method instead and it let me in. It's the kind of thing that puts off potential customers though - I persisted because I'm somewhat invested here, both in terms of time and financially. If I were relatively new, I'd have said screw it and gone to Roll20 after the 3rd try.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
It used to make me do this a lot. I don't know why lol.
(Maybe it's because I'm secretly a robot)
Also, it shouldn't take you minutes to do the verification screen, if you just hold down click. It only resets if you don't do this or sometimes if you're using a touch screen.
Usually it occurs when an individual is trying to access an account with different IP addresses provided by ether hardware or ISP/VPN providers over a given course of time. This is done to ensure the integrity of the account’s data and to prevent any malicious attacks from occurring.
It’s even worse if any combo of the three are set to randomly assign a IP address upon connecting to a network, as some sites view this as a security risk.
Best way to reduce the number of incidents is to contact the various providers ( especially if you’re using a ISP that offers a free VPN service and using a paid VPN service to further protect yourself ), and either drop one or the other. [ Personally, I use the better of the two, and after dropping the redundant service haven’t had an issue yet]
It can also just happen if you move through things too quickly and the system thinks you’re a bot. Like, I homebrew a lot, so I am very, very familiar with the homebrewer. If I move through things too quickly the system will occasionally force me to verify. It’s a pain in the patooty.
try opening a few browser tabs and loading a few other human websites first. sometimes the human check is just looking for prior evidence of human existence. simulating half a minute of distractability should be about as easy as casually falling off a mossy log, likely due to distraction. not that a human would. they are too clever and handsome.
incidentally, i don't receive these checks. the above appears to be working nicely.

I've never had any problems with verification. For various testing purposes I have tried the site on many different devices from PCs, laptops, smartphones (including android and iphone), tablets, and even XBOX One. I have used a variety of operating systems from windows 7, 10, 11 and MacOS (although it was a long time ago and I cannot remember which version), and Linux (Ubuntu). I have tested in various browsers from ie, edge, chrome, chromium, safari, opera, opera gx, firefox, the default one you get on phones, and I have tested using various ISPs from Vodafone, Sky, BT, EE and T-Mobile. Some had dynamic IPs (as in, the IP changed every time) and some had Static. I have tested with an without NordVPN, ExpressVPN, SurfShark and the default one Opera GX has.
And in the 6 years of all this testing: never had a single instance of verification problems.
So, from my perspective this is definitely more to do with you / your device / etc, than it is with D&D Beyond. Or I'm just somehow super amazingly brilliantly lucky or something - which, all things considered in my life right now I really fluffing doubt.

Nothing, it started 2 weeks ago and never goes away. It just stays in a loop forever until it just works.
