When you have a backdrop that isn't mostly white the borders don't look very nice, especially when the border and the backdrop don't contrast much. The border shouldn't have transparency like it has here.
I think it looks OK the way it is.. you could always pick a more contrasting border colour.
Edit: It would be nice if they let you specify a custom colour for the borders... probably a big ask though.
Not sure if this has been reported yet so just in case I wanted to make you aware of a bug in the PDF exported character sheets. The text boxes on the PDF are cutting off text that is too long for the box instead of resizing it so it is small enough to fit. I would absolutely love to see this bug fixed as my home group uses DND Beyond to track characters however the players like to have paper copies of their sheets for ease of reference.
Another thing I noticed which I don't think is unintentionally is that the exported sheets don't export current HP, current remaining spell slots, hit dice or prepared spells. I would love to see an option to have these included on the exported sheets so my players can see what spell slots they have remaining, what they have prepared and what their current hit points and hit dice are. It saves me time as a DM as I like to print all my players character sheets out before a game. They are relatively new players so it's helpful to be able to manage sheets with ease so I can just hand an updated printout for them after each game.

I'm having pdf problems as well. Whenever I edit and save the PDFs created by dndbeyond, I find that almost all of the text is wiped from the template when I open it up again later. Anyone else having this problem?

I had the same problem, and my brother traced it to the oddities of fillable forms. Our solution: export from Beyond, then "print to PDF" instead of your printer, and then you'll have a "normal" PDF when you open the file you "printed".
The trouble is, it's no longer editable, so you'll need to make changes only in Beyond and then re-export. This method will give you a PDF you can open on other devices, send through email, and such.
Bracers of Def don't seem to be adding their bonus to any character I make. (Yes they are equipped)
The builder doesn't overwrite the lizardman's natural armor bonus if it is higher then wearing armor that gives your a lower AC, the builder will still display the lower AC until you un-equip the armor.
The order of the lycan bloodhunter path doesn't show the correct formula for unarmed strikes and doesn't have a toggle to enable it like the hexblade does to change a weapon to a Charisma modifier

Thanks! That's very helpful, though I wish they'd fix this. I've noted this bug a few times in this thread, but perhaps it's more of an issue with the PDF viewing application I use (preview) rather than a problem with dndbeyond.
Ugh your right, i didn't realize you had to enable it via the attune slots on top of just wearing it. I'm still a little new at using this system. Love it so far. The other things though are actually bugs as far as I can tell.

I like the transparency. Gives it a wrought-iron or calligraphy feel (depending on the color). Yes, it does look better with certain background and color combinations than others. And you already can change the border color for each character. Select the dropdown next to your character's name and pick "Change Theme". While there is a different theme for each class (plus a couple others), you don't actually have to stick to the one for your character's class. Pick one you like that works well with the background you want to use.

Yeah, sorry I meant fully custom colors (like a picker or hex code input)

Lizadarfolk's natural armor is valid only when you are not wearing an armor.
For the Lycan's unarmed strike is a time-limited feature, it is better done with a custom attack on the sheet.
Some ritual spells like Identify and Alarm, no longer have their ritual tag on the character sheet. I did not search them all, but I did look on Compendium and they are rituals, but in the character builder they are not.

What class is the character in question?
These classes cannot cast spells as rituals: Sorcerer, Paladin, Ranger, Fighter (Eldritch Knight), Rogue (Arcane Trickster).

Interesting note, if it is added to my spellbook, it then shows ritual, but then not the ritual tag disappears. The ritual description is not on the spell even when added to book, but the tag shows up.

when selecting which spells to add to my book, Identify and Alarm do not show the ritual tag, heck none of them have the ritual tag next to them, until AFTER I add them to spell book. These are all WIZARD spells so it's not like I am looking at Paladin and wondering why I cannot see ritual tag. These are wizard spells to pick for a wizard class. Ritual tags should be present (as they were previously) before I select the spell.

I'm guessing that you are trying to manage your spells from your character sheet. If you do it thru the builder they show as rituals, but not when I use manage option from the character sheet itself.
I adore the new sheet, but I can't figure out how to model the Natural Weapons aspect of Alter Self. I'll describe what we need to model and then what I've tried.
Alter Self's Natural Weapons essentially modifies the unarmed strike. So we want to represent it on the sheet as an attack action with these properties:
based on unarmed strike with proficiency
damage die d6
damage type choice from bludgeoning, piercing, slashing
+1 to hit and +1 damage
magic
Attempts to model Natural Weapons:
Customize the existing unarmed strike action. This doesn't work because we can't change the damage die or damage type.
Create a custom action (whether General, Spell, or Weapon). This doesn't work because we can't specify a bonus To Hit--the Fixed Value field only applies to damage.
Create a homebrew magic item based on a weapon with a d6 damage die. This doesn't work because if I want slashing damage, for example, there is no base weapon that does d6 slashing damage that does not also have a property like finesse or thrown that fouls the representation.
I don't think modeling it as a homebrew spell really works very well for various reasons, chiefly that spells are mechanically different from melee attacks.
Any help or comment would be appreciated.
I would appreciate a comment on this. Unless my memory is failing me, it was trivial to model this on the old sheet.

Go to attacks, click on manage custom. The only thing I cannot get with weapon custom is the +1 to hit and damage. All else I can get. but you could also take a +1 Weapon and customize it. Pick a weapon and change name to fit your spell, modify stats of +Hit and Damage.
+1 Scimitar, over ride to hit manually. Sure it has finesss stat, but that is ignored by the manual +hit override.
Tried another thing. Create Homebrew item, equip that.

Ok bug's so far I've found are as follows
Are they attuned and are you not wearing armor or a shield?
