The issue where it validated against the combined 2014 and 2024 level requirements should now be fixed! You may need to first edit your subclass and hit the main save button before seeing the error go away.

I'm encountering an issue today with a cleric subclass I'm creating. It currently has features set for levels 2, 6, 8, and 17, and I'm getting an error that I cannot make it public. At first, I thought it was because I'm missing the level one class feature, but I worked on a warlock subclass that did not require a level one class feature. It has features at levels 3, 6, 10, and 14
I feel like adding this extra post to help with future readers.
The issue is basically since the 2024 releases the system that checks for features at certain levels has gotten confused. Sometimes it will use 2024 requirements, even for 2014 versions, sometimes it will use 2014 requirements even for 2024 versions and sometimes you'll need both.
If you are getting the error then have features at every level required for the 2014 and 2024 version of the class. For example, the 2014 Wizard has features at 2, 6, 10 and 14. The 2024 Wizard has features at 3, 6, 10 and 14. However, you may need to have features to cover both: at 2, 3, 6, 10 and 14.
By covering requirements for both versions of a class, it should always be fine.
If you do not want a feature at a required level you can have the feature be empty (no modifiers/etc) and check all 3 'Hide' boxes - this means it will not appear on the sheet, on details page or in the builder.

I'm having this issue too with a sorcerer subclass. I have features for the required class levels (1, 6, 14, 18), but it still gives me the following error:
This homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels
I even added a 3rd level feature to see if it would solve the issue but no dice. Does anyone have any idea why that might be?
I'm trying to create a fighter subclass- got all the levels 3, 7, 10, 15. 18. Did all the saving of each feature, saved the main subclass under Basic Info over a dozen and a half times, been through every related forum and FAQ, tried everything listed in old and new version bugs. "Can cast spells" is set to no since it's not a spellcaster- yes I know not needed, did it anyways. Even went through, highlighted everything, and attempted to remove hyperlinks in case hidden somewhere. Descriptions are long enough, some even longer than official subclasses.
And yes, I've saved at every step. Beginning, middle, end, post-end. Even right before sending this. Yes, it's 2024, meant to be 2024 not 2014. There's nothing on any of the class features, no level scaling, no modifiers, no spells, no actions, no options, no creatures. Tried creating new and editing everything of an official one as alternate options. Still getting this warning.
What Feature Type did you use for those? You’ll need a Granted feature at each of those levels. If a level has only Granted or Replacement features (i.e. optional class features), they won’t count.

I have the same issue with two fighter subclasses too. I know in fact one of it was worked up until today when I made a small formatting change in the subclass description.
Though I think it is the description because when I copied champion fighter, it's only problem was about the resemblance with the official champion fighter, but once I edited the snippet and the description is "This homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels.", yet it was one-on-one the Champion fighter.
Small Edit. I just tested it again, it has something to do with the Snipet and the Description of the class. The one with the Error And the one without error.
I'm also having this issue making a 2024 Rogue subclass, they have a 3, 9,13,17 lvl features but it still says "This homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels."
I have more too, about the inside of every single one of those as proof of everything. And I know it's not because it's an Echo Knight update- there's plenty of published 2024 Echo updates
I am making a sub class for blood hunter following all the level rules, 3, 7, 11, 15, and 18 but it still doesn't let me publish it

ModeratorDid you create it for the 2024 Cleric class when you meant to do it for the 2014 one?

Make sure you click Save on the main page after adding all of the features, even if you haven't changed anything on the main page.

All Granted. :3
I'm very well attuned to the HB system, but this has never really been a problem I've faced before, so I'm very confused.
