I purchased the Player Handbook and the sharp shooter feat is not showing as an option in the pull down bar. I was hoping to use this feat for my level 4 ranger. It looks like most of the other feats are there. Did I miss something or is there an issue w/ my purchase?
The reason the Sharpshooter feat doesn't show in the dropdown for your 4th level ability is because you've already added the feat to your character at 1st level from being a Variant Human.
If you click on FEATURES & TRAITS in the main right-hand area and then on FEATS in the subheadings that appear below that, you can see the feats known by your character, along with a link to "Manage Feats" - that will show you what feats your character knows and how they were gained.
It's probably something similar to what has been mentioned above but could you confirm please.
That character already has Sharpshooter. Was it mistakenly added directly to the character sheet instead of through leveling up? Look on the character sheet and look under “Features & Traits”->”Feats”->”Manage Feats.”
Im having the same issue and the only feat that appears is firearm specialist. Please help!
Have you purchased the PHB here on DDB? Or, are you in a campaign with content sharing. Only 3 feats are available for free, and two of those have prerequisites that I'm guessing your character does not meet.
