Unfortunately D&D Beyond's Marketplace no longer allows purchasing individual character options. Currently the only way to get that subclass is to purchase the book it appears in (the 2014 Dungeon Master's Guide).

It’s included in the 2014 Dungeon Master’s Guide (not the 2024 one!) so you’ll need to own that book on D&D Beyond or have access to it through content sharing.

It’s a Paladin subclass, so if you have access to it, you should see it in the drop-down list of subclasses when your character is level 3.

It’s currently only available for the 2014 version of the Paladin class.

Replying to this post in case no one mentioned it yet, but to actually select Oathbreaker as your character's subclass you have to both buy the 2014 DMG and set your character's alignment to evil

This is not correct. D&D Beyond does not enforce alignment restrictions like this.

I would like to recommend testing stuff before posting if the test is very easy to do. This way you don't spread misinformation.

Your assertation can be very easily tested and is completely false. 

From D&D Beyond Marketplace, I have bought both:

• 2024 Digital & Physical Core Rulebook Bundle
  (containing digital and physical copies of 2024 Player's Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide, and Monster Manual)
  AND
• 2014 Core Rulebook Gift Set
  (containing digital and physical copies of 2014 Player's Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide, and Monster Manual)

I still cannot access Paladin Subclass Oathbreaker in Character Builder. I don't even see the digital copies of the 2014 books in my Library.

I am not sure what to do. I guess they just took all my money and said "sorry sucker" - I have an open ticket but so far they have just emailed me scripted responses with no help

They are not in sync, depsite saying they are at the top of the Licence page:

Similar to the 2024 books only appearing in my Library while the 2014 books are missing, when I check Licenses only the following are listed and without dates:
(assuming 2024 books as I can access those contents in my Character Builder but still cannot access 2014 contents - even if 2014 rules are checkmarked)

You will need to check the payment for the 2014 DMG went through, because according to D&D Beyond you don't have a license for it, which is why the subclass isn't appearing.

If the money did leave the bank and you got the email receipt then contact Customer Support and open a ticket (use Contact Us link at bottom of any page) and provide the transaction details. 

Oh I missed they said Gift Set.

Yeah, buying a gift set will not unlock it on your account because it's a gift for somebody else. The recipient of the gift set will receive the codes to redeem the books on here.
