I homebrewed an item that essentially adds +1 to spell attack and damage rolls. Im not seeing the +1 added to the damage calculation column, or even the +1 to attack. I know I have the modifiers setup right, I even compared to staff of magi, which has the same effects (plus more obviously). Do I just have to remember every time to add +1 to the attack and damage rolls? Or is there a nice way to get it to show up on the site as well
Also just verified my + to hit isnt affected either when I have my wand active. So for example, regardless whether it is equipped or not, it says +6 to hit for my shocking grasp and 1d8 for my shocking grasp. I feel like it should say +7 to hit and 1d8+1
Ah I see the issue now. The Staff of the Magi's +2 is to damage rolls when used as a quarter staff. Not for spell damage rolls. There is currently no homebrew modifier for blanket +X spell damage.
As for the attack rolls, you should be using: Bonus:Spell Attacks, Fixed Value = 1.

Damn ok, was hoping there was an easy way to do it. Obviously I can just add it on my own, but it would be nice if the calculation was right there
The good-ish news is that the recent Eberron book has some common magic items that give +1 to certain types of damage. And while they currently don't have any modifiers on the back end, DnD Beyond has been pretty good about getting new mechanics added. So it's probably coming.
Adding bonuses to spell healing/damage has been on the list for a while now. Basically, they need to change the way spell information is stored in the servers in order to make it easier to modify these values. It isn't a small change and will be a while before it is implemented.

Do you need to attune the item?
