When I post my character link https://www.dndbeyond.com/profile/SANSd20/characters/475767
the card shows level 6, when in fact he is lvl 14.
If you want the preview card image to be accurate, you have to use the shareable link.

D&D Beyond FoundersWhen you use the "share link" it creates a cached version of the character sheet for that purpose.
If you update the character and wish to share it, use the share function and generate a new link.

When you post the share link to a message client that supports open-graph previews (facebook, discord, pretty much everthing) it will show up as a preview image. Like this:
