My player has an Expert Sidekick, which I have put together a Home Brew Statblock for, and accessing it has become a nightmare.
She has trouble accessing the Statblock itself, (we're playing remotely, and she's not terribly technically proficient) we got it to show up in the Extras>Sidekick Sidebar, which would be ideal, but the statblock is cut off below "Actions!" No Bonus Actions (or presumably Reactions) are shown, at all!
On testing it, this is true of any Expert Sidekick! This is incredibly frustrating, because the most crucial attributes of The Expert Sidekick Class are the Bonus Actions!! (Particularly this one!)
She's not familiar enough with this Side Character to have memorized everything it can do, she's still leaning her main character and is relying on that stat block to play the sidekick, as well she should. I need the Bonus Actions to show up for her, and any other player that may have such a creature. She, reasonably, wants it integrated with her Character Sheet, but frankly, having it half work like this, for me as the DM, is worse than not having it work at all!
sorry about this! We only added the "Bonus Action" section for monsters recently and it seems that the extras section of the character sheet hasn't been updated to match yet.
As a workaround for now, you could add those bonus actions to the action section, so they'll display. Fully understood that this isn't ideal though.
Thank you for the prompt response! I figured out that exact work around shortly after posting, but as you said, it's not ideal. I'm happy you're looking at it, and I can't wait to see it fixed! Again, super grateful for the prompt response; the site over all is a delight! Y'all are amazing!

Way back before they added those sections I was converting one of my NPCs from a Character Sheet to a Monster Statblock and needed to add a Bonus Action. I learned that if you do it right it will look as if the system had a Bonus Action field! (I knew that would come in handy one of these days.)
After you have listed all of the creature’s Actions, at the bottom of the list type “Bonus Actions,” and then add that creature’s bonus actions below that. Then go back and highlight the “Bonus Actions” and change that specific line from “Paragraph” to “Header 3” as the text format. When you look at that statblock it will appear identical to the Actions and Reactions section and smack dab in between the two exactly where it belongs.

Any update on this? This seems to be a persistens issue still to this day

How do we fix this?!?
Hi there,

As a workaround for now, you could add those bonus actions to the action section, so they'll display. Fully understood that this isn't ideal though.

I hope that helps.

Bumping because I've also just discovered this issue, seemingly 3.5 years after the first report.
I made a Wrist Dagger, people seem to like it.
