Just played around with the spell listings and discovered something I LOVE about this format--the DC Saves are right there on the lists. This will be a great quick-reference for DMs and Players alike.
The other filters look great, too. I'm particularly fond of class spell lists, which is great for character/NPC creation. Will there be carryover for the character archetypes that gain spells from different classes?
I think its so helpful that the spells are broken up by class. Makes searching spells SO much easier. I play a sorcerer, so you can imagine how annoying it is having to be constantly flipping through the book (and how much time it takes when we're in combat). Being able to just take a couple of clicks to find the right spell is amazing. Though being able to make a spellbook would be fantastic. Over all, great job guys! Keep up the good work!

Fire Bolt not being on the Sorcerer's spell list is a bug (that I'm sure has been flagged a few times now...). Gust of Wind does have a Concentration tag on it though - has the C next to the duration.
I have noticed that the longer spell names are shortened. It would be nice to see the full name of longer named spells on my mobile when i use the long side of my smarthphone display for reading.
My bad, thanks Sorce. I fear I've become programmed to give an SRD-only disclaimer whenever any spell is mentioned...
As to that, Dungeoneer, there's even an issue on desktop-based browsing where a few long names don't show in full either. I know they're working on that, so perhaps they'll address both at once. We'll have to wait and see. Good point, though.
It looks like the SRD may already have been updated as they are released, but can you include the Errata changes to the published materials when this goes live? This is true for all of the the different D&D Beyond features. Thanks.
I have a question regarding the wording on Magic Missile.
The listing states, "You create three glowing darts of magical force. Each dart hits a creature of your choice that you can see within range. A dart deals 1d4 + 1 force damage to its target. "
Does this mean that at first level Magic Missile does 3d4 +3? Or that the spell does 1d4 +1 in total?
3d4+3 seemed a little powerful for a 1st level spell but having not played in a while I may be out of touch with power balance and such.

That is the correct damage for Magic Missile - 1 d4+1 per dart, and you have three darts. You could send one to each of three targets, or hit one target with all three. The other first level spells are comparable - 2d8 and knockback for Thunderwave, potentially 3d6 in an area for Burning Hands.
The criteria for this tag is confusing. It appears a list of protective spells (i.e. abjuration magics), but does not contain some that seem to fit. For example, Mage Armor is not included, but Shield of Faith is. These spells have similar, though not identical, effects. This tag likely needs a more robust inclusion/exclusion criteria.
Consider Adding: Mage Armor, Barkskin, Antipathy/Sympathy, Glyph of Warding, Death Ward, Guards and Wards, Warding Bond, Arcane Lock, Antilife Shell, Antimagic Field, Resilient Sphere, Forcecage, Globe of Invulnerability
Most spells on the list permanently create a thing, or create something with lasting effect (produce flame). Flame Blade is an outlier: it creates a temporary object, and uses the term evokes rather than creates in the spells language.
If Flame Bade is included, than the following spells also fit the temporary creation criteria: Spiritual Weapon, Arcane Sword, Blade Barrier, All Wall Spells, many conjuration spells

SirGareth, you certainly gain Inspiration.
We are certainly planning another pass on tagging all spells appropriately, but your lists here saved someone on our team a good bit of time. Much appreciated!
Thank you, subsistcyber!!!

Sorcerer list doesn't have firebolt cantrip and gust of wind isn't listed concentration
Hey reasarian and welcome to the forums!
The only spells and content currently listed in the compendium come from the free SRD - you can find more information on that and a lot more in this thread here: http://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/news-announcements/1942-beta-report-the-week-after

Banishment Spell - Filter Error
The Banishment Spell does not show up when the Banishment Filter is used. One only sees Divine Word, Plane Shift and Maze.
This seems like an error, as no spell deserves the Banishment filter more than the spell Banishment.
Social Spell Tag
This tag currently includes: Animal Friendship, Animal Messenger, Calm Emotions, Charm Person, Comprehend Languages, Detect Thoughts, Glibness
Consider Adding: Message, Speak with Animals, Suggestion, Sending, Tongues, Heroes Feast
First things first, welcome to the forums!
