I would greatly appreciate if content in the spell list was listed in the same way as in the books. In both the spells and monster section you've shifted content order so it takes me longer to read an entry from your database than it does to read the same entry in the book. I realize I will eventually get used to it but a lot of other options list them as they appear in the books. And frankly the default spell layout reads easier on my phone than listing the spell details horizontally like you do here.
It would be nice if the "available to" list for spells included spells granted by class choices like Cleric Domains, etc.
Spell summaries would be helpful on the search list.
Tagging items as favorites, as well as DM banning spells would be nice.
Custom tagging of spells in general could be helpful, as DM I'd mostly use this to note tactical options against certain players, like Light dispells Darkness etc. but it would be just a nice universal option across all content. Heck a whole community tagging option would be cool though I imagine it would require to much moderation for it to be viable.
I think you should improve spells searches. Having something to select "Class-relates" spells once users select the class is useful: i.e. School spells for Wizards, Domain spells for Cleric etc.

Pretty sure that the Sub Class drop down is for this. It's coming soon with either a later Phase or once they release PHB etc.
Just wanted to say that I'm loving what's already available and am very much looking forward to the subclass addition, but am wondering how that's going to work. I assume that for classes like Cleric, it will pull your domain spells together. But what about for things like Arcane Tricksters? Will that be a subclass of wizard?
Will assigning spells to classes that normally don't get spells be available on the character sheets? I know there are feats/class features that do this, but I mean just for RP purposes or if a wizard copies down a scroll for a spell they wouldn't typically learn.
Having an option in the VSM filter to remove items that don't have one of the components selected. So, for example, if I'm looking for spells that don't have a material component, I could select only V and S and anything with a material component wouldn't show up.
Seconded! Being able to single out spells that you could cast while tied up or without your focus/components is huge
I used this (and the item list) in play the other day. It was quite handy.
The only issue I had is that it doesn't automatically reset filters after doing a search, proving to be a bit clumsy. Still, I'm not sure if changing that would actually be for the better.
It would be great if we could navigate from the spell page between spells in the list. And please don't make us use the back button. Give us an awesome back button within the spells description that takes us back to that specific spell, not just the spell list.
It would be great if each of the errata listed on the spells page would link back to that subject in the compendium. for instance, the damage block at the bottom of the acid arrow spells page would link back to the damage description section in the compendium.
It's very nice to be able to select more than one character class to filter the list, but it would be better if there was some way to know which spells in the list belonged to which class. This will help us to determine our spell limits depending on our class levels for all of our classes. It would also be great if we could filter the list on the class level for each of the classes too. Maybe use the outline of each spell to match a color of the outline of the class listing.
I tried using the spells list to check on effects during play with my wizard last night while playing and although as is works for basic searching, I found two things frustrating;
1. I was unable to include more than one level of spell in a filter. Or at least this UI control is not intuitive if you can.
2. All the pagination once I did filter by a spell level was frustrating. Once filtered for wizard and level (s), the list should just return all and let me scroll. In mobile all the guesswork of how much pagination got annoying.
So ideally, let scroll thru all result after filter, less good, at least give us alphabetical page jumps. A,b,c,d... Loads all from filter that start with..
I think some of these suggestions such as filtering by V,S,M and filtering by action and casting time and what not are amazing suggestions, Though I also love how easy to use and accessible this site is. Very nice job!!!
It would be nice to be able to filter spells by ritual or not. And if the require concentration. - Very handy for determining what you might want to pick to memorize that day, or put in your spellbook.
Can certain notations either hyperlink or (better still) pop up the relevant rules? Frex - this is super handy info under Antipathy / Sympathy - 60 ft(200 ft *cube icon*), but it would be even better if I could pop over and see what that means so I can help the GM when he asks me - "What are the rules on cubes again?"
Cleric domain spells?

Include spells from other supplemens. Princes of the Apocalypse and Sword Coast Adv. Guide had spells. The list here seems to be PHB only lists

Another thing is missing on spells descriptions (at least on some of them) is the "RITUAL" tag

Checking in on this thread - I believe we will try the V, S, M filter change in a future build and see what everyone thinks.
Thanks!
