I would love to see a tab to sort monsters by the type of damage they deal. This could be very useful for DMs who have players that are resilient but have specific vulnerabilities that can help make encounters more challenging. On the players side of things it could help with character creation. Want to know which types of damage are most common, so you can see what resistances or saving throws may be the most useful? Sorting a creatures damage type capabilities would be super helpful.
During the beta test of D&D Beyond, we'll only be including content that is freely available in the D&D 5th edition SRD and D&D 5th edition Basic Rules and will not include additional content from a Commercially Released Book or Supplement.
All of the remaining published content from the PHB, DMG, MM and other D&D 5th edition books will be added to D&D Beyond for product release - the cost for accessing this material has not yet been announced.
Monster stat blocks that have damage resistances to nonmagical "weapons" are listed instead as nonmagical "attacks".
For instance, the banshee and will-o-wisp, but I imagine that there are a lot more.
This would normally just be a nitpick, and I wouldn't mention it, but I believe that the distinction is important to the game rules.
But then again, maybe its not, and I am wrong. In either case, I thought it would help to bring it up.
It is good you brought it up. The thing is: in the SRD is wording is with "attacks"; in the monster manual is with "weapons". So, for now the wording in DDB is correct, but it will be an important distinction when the MM will be implemented.
Considering you won't see MM unless you pay for it, I am sure the SRD/Basic Rules will stay worded as is and the full stuff from MM when added will be worded as is. They are pretty much copy pasting information into this and trying to make sure they can format it correctly. Which is why some things have had funky line breaks in the text that some of us have caught.
It looks like we are getting most of the kinks out of the foundational part of the site being tested with the free info. I know soon we'll be seeing more things, but until then keep digging around and letting them know of any issues with what you are seeing with the SRD and Basic Rules setup or anything you think might tweak it to be even better. Even if we haven't seen it yet, there is a lot more to come with searching and more tweaks to tooltip action etc. Let alone seeing how the Monster List here integrates with the fun of campaign management in Phase 3.

The issue with resistances differing between "weapons" in the Monster Manual and "attacks" in the info here is that here the errata has been incorporated.
I for one would love one links to spells for monsters and perhaps a way to organise an encounter and have all the stat blocks together. And obviously tracking damage and the like would be cool but I'm hoping this will be part of the DM section
The Yeti's thumbnail art is of a bullete but it's the modrons art in the full page view. That's one bizarre yeti or maybe I missing some information on default artwork if no yeti artwork is available. ((Which I now realise is the case. Nevermind!))
I didn't have time to read to the end so my suggestion may have been made already. It would be helpful to have a tactics suggestions tab or button for the DM. So if there is a random encounter they can see how to best use a monster rather than a number of hit points that stabs with a sword. For example, goblins can ambush and take the hide action as a bonus action.

Is there a meaning behind the different colored numbers for ability scores?

Idk if this was commented but the spined devil is also missing

If I had the time, I'd compile a list of things that are in the MM but not in the PHB. I actually am surprised sometimes with what was omitted.
Typo in Drider's Sunlight Sensitivity is not its own feature, rolled in with Spider Climb by mistake.

Shoot... that is correct, which means I have some things to revise.
