If I am mistaken, then please help me understand how to toggle 3.5e.
If there isn't any support for it, I'm legit asking... why? if anything 3.5 needs this kind of automated sheet WAY more than 5e! along with saving things online, and helping calculate everything, looking through item lists, adding costume items or bonuses... there are multiple online sheet sites for 3.5 out there, but none do it as slick as dndbeyond, and I would really love idea of a community updated (and moderated for non-homebrew content) data of all the feats and items or whatever, in one place, in an easy to "loot" or "level up" system... or seeing your capacity stats (and load penalties) update live as you pick up items, I would love every bit of it, and would spend personal time to contribute into adding some official source items and feats just for the heck of helping.
Anyways hope you consider my input, have a great day everyone.
There is no support for 3.5e in DDB, and there is unlikely to be. DDB still has a long list of plans/todos for the site/service for 5e. They simply don't have the resources to accomplish those plans and develop a whole different site/service for a different edition.
It doesn't make financial sense to support 3rd edition. It's not getting new products or customer support, it's less popular than 5th edition, and its rules are an order of magnitude more complicated.
For your own good, I'd moderate your tone in future posts. The DDB forum moderators don't take kindly to combative behavior and that kind of language will get you kicked out of the forums very quickly.
Nobody passed judgment on 3rd edition or on you for liking it. That it's discontinued and 5th edition is more popular are a matter of fact.
While 3.5e is no longer evolving, its rules are still incredibly complex and there's an overwhelming number of books that'd need to be transcribed and supported. As someone that wrote a complex spreadsheet to keep track of all the different bonuses my character had accumulated, I know it's a non-trivial task. As simple as you may think 5th edition is, it's still complex enough to keep the Curse team working at full capacity. There's still dozens of outstanding bugs affecting the current character sheet and missing text or images in the short list of official books. I don't say this to devalue the hard work of the dev team, but to show that you're asking them to move mountains without any financial incentives.
If the devs could just cast Wish and instantly provide support for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th edition, I'm sure they would, but we live in the real world and they have a business to run.

^ This. On top of that, 3.5e would probably involve a separate licensing agreement. Also, I can only imagine the amount of forum posts they'd be getting about people "being forced to rebuy content" if they started re-releasing all the 3.5e materials
People are still playing 3.5, it is still getting new players, and while Wizards of the Coast isn't making new products 3rd party companies are. It wouldn't take much to add 3.5 support to D&D Beyond. They probably won't because they still want everyone on 5e but personally I like playing both and I prefer DM'ing 3.5 and I know others who are the same.

Ummm, how bout a new licensing agreement fro WOTC - that is not an easy thing. Those other third parties have their own agreements with WoTC when it comes to 3.5, but DDB, has also marketed itself as the 5e toolset, so not seeing any changes in the future.

Since 3/3.5 books are all open source now, there is absolutely no financial incentive to support that edition.

Really? You don't have to buy any of the books or modules anymore?

For some reason my VHS tapes don't play on my Apple TV, either!
It's just not practical to expect a tool like this to support a version that's 10+ years old.
Furthermore, 3.5 is a “discontinued” edition for WotC, and even though there are still people playing it, WotC does not support it anymore

D&D Beyond can't even properly support 5e, so yeah, it would absolutely "take much" to add 3e support.
