On the character creation screen, there are invocations that are not showing up for selection. A few examples are thirsting blade, eldritch smite, and invocation that allows an extra origin feat.
Legacy/Expanded rules Eldritch Invocations are not appearing at all either, and this is not mentioned in their list of currently unsupported features. This is a huge number of Eldritch Invocations, including some cornerstones for certain warlock playstyles. I'm waiting for an update post that confirm that this is a temporary issue they intend to fix, just like they claim to be doing for subclasses and feats.
Missing Eldritch Invocations include the following:

I wouldn't expect to see those coming. Expanded or not, they're features for the 2014 Warlock.
If you're having issues with the 2024 Core Rulebooks in the compendium, in the builder, or on the character sheet, please direct your feedback to the official support thread, as the team is actively watching that thread during work hours.

"Will functions that consult spells (ex. Warlock invocations) be affected?
No, they will not. If you have 2014 content enabled, you will still be able to refer to 2014 versions of functions like invocations in your character sheet."
They are also "Character options" which were stated to be available. Even if we ignore the "legacy" content, 2024 phb was promised to be 100% backwards compatible with old expanded rules. So invocations from books other than the PHB SHOULD be available to the 2024 warlock.
Over half of the existing invocations are unavailable to the 2024 warlock. Why would anyone want to play a warlock with half the character options gutted??? "They're 2014 features" so are the 2014 spells. Should they say 2024 classes can't pick legacy or expanded rules spells? What about Subclasses? Should the 2024 versions of the classes only have their 4 subclass options from the PHB? subclasses prior to 2024 were "features" of the 2014 classes. Not the 2024 classes.
The idea that they're going to get rid of all prior invocations for the 2024 warlock is absurd.
Investment of the Chain Master is missing too. Probably related to their "can't modify Stat blocks in the character builder". It's amazing how many basic functions don't function.
Adding to this: Agonizing Blast can only be applied to Eldritch Blast, despite the new version clearly stating that you can choose any damage dealing cantrip.

That does not mean the 2024 class will have access to the 2014 invocations. It means the 2014 Warlock will be able to use them without any issues being caused by the transition. Old invocations belong to old Warlock. For context, the questions were discussing how the 2014 content will be impacted by the changes.
The problem with not allowing them is, that the Warlock chassis has been reprinted, so you shouldn't even be able to select the base 2014 chassis. What should happen is choose 2024 Warlock and be able to add any non-reprinted subclass to that. However, without a clear path to adding some of the obviously allowable invocations, they are completely falsifying the term 'backwards compatible'.

All claims that all features were fully backward compatible were only from the community, not the devs.
The Invocations from Tasha's Guide were under the umbrella of an Optional Feature. So theoretically, all of those could be considered as out of bounds for the 2024 Warlock since D&D Beyond does not currently support any Tasha's Optional features for the 2024 classes.
But the Invocations from Xanathar's Guide are NOT presented as optional features. They are simply additional options for Warlocks. They should certainly be available for characters build with expanded rules.
And of course, if and when optional rules are enabled for 2024, the Tasha's options should appear as well.

Devouring blade, and gift of the protectors are also missing for invocations
Access to some legacy spells for mystic arcanum like mass suggestion are also missing for warlocks with legacy content available. Will that be patched
That is one thing that probably will not be fixed as it was removed from the Warlock spell list. So that is intentional.
