Enspelled weapons should have a spell slot attached to them to make it easier to use their slot especially for martial classes that don't have access to spells.
Request: Folders / Sections for Characters in DnD Beyond.
It would be valuable if the characters sections allowed your to organize and group your characters into nameable sections and folders. This would allow players to do things such as grouping 'retired or passed' characters, create a folder for a single character but across multiple levels showing build progression, or maintain a section with characters which have not yet been played, etc.

This is a pain point, and one reason I don't pick up enspelled items.
It is.. I go around it now by homebrewing enspelled weapon and add the spell myself to the homebrewed version..but it's a pain in the ass to do for each weapon you need in the campaign..
In our homebrew collections, we should be able to press on a letter of the alphabet to find out homebrew creations easier rather than scrolling through 10 pages.
Homebrew collection and Homebrew creations sections need a lot more searchable filters.... I have hundreds of homebrew...
As all of the current adventure content links to 2014 monsters it would be very cool if there was link to 2024 version in the monster itself, if there is a matching entry. This would save me from having to search for it every time instead getting there with one button click and making it easier to use new content without going back and updating every link in the modules to new content.
Please consider this quality of life improvement. Thanks.
Please, please, update the links from the new third party content to the 2024 rules. You would think books that come out like Heliana’s and Obojima would work with 2024 classes but they are all linked to legacy content.
Fix the online Search functionality - Its' embarrassingly bad!. It is just plain bad. For example, perform a search for "Green Slime", and you get every instance of Green Slime in adventure modules. You have to page down 2 or 3 times to finally find the instance that links to the DMG on Dungeon Hazards.
At a minimum, return results in the following order:
Add a true Campaign Management Solution, like LegendKeeper (https://www.legendkeeper.com). Seriously, purchase LegendKeeper, integrate it into D&D Beyond, adding support for internal links to purchased materials, characters, encounters, maps, ...

Honestly if they could just add a source category includer/excluder in the search function, that is probably easier to code. Being able to at least say you only want results from source books should be an easy code and a huge step in the right direction.
Need an easier way to associate custom token images on VTT. 90% of books have "Use the Veteran Statblock for Jimmy Bones but the only way to give Jimmy Bones that block and a nonexistent image is to go homebrew an entire monster for him using that block. Maybe ability to select a block and upload image on the fly. Then save it as that block going forward. Same process, but faster.

Token maker and map maker like inkarnate would be fine too.
Please make a toggle to turn off access to 2024 rules & classes in Character creation/Campaigns.
If people prefer using 5e, make a toggle to turn off 2024 content just like with Legacy since it looks close enough like 5e but absolutely breaks the game if one person creates a class in 2024 by mistake.
Many long time users i feel are in the same boat, all books and content made for 5e are much harder to utilize and it will drive people away from using the platform in general.
Are you not being upfront with players about what is and isn't allowed?
Or do you want a free copy of the 2014 books?
Like...I want a toggle, too, but if you(assuming you're a DM) aren't telling your players what is or isn't allowed, or not content sharing in a dummy campaign for the purposes of such on here, that behavior isn't on the site. If you aren't legally sharing 2014 content you own via the tools that exist, I advise you do so.
No I don't want anything for free, I want a way to block mixing of 2014 and 2024 assets.
I have been a DM level member for 6 years, paid for all core rules, expansions and pretty much everything related to 2014 5e to be able to share the access to my players. However the platform as it is currently presents 2024 rules first and have an extremely similar design to 2014 which makes it harder to distinguish what can be utilized.
I have been upfront to all my players and it still happens even with veteran players and DMs who play in my games have mistakenly taken a 2024 Background or Classes simply because it is designed to look as the original "Core rules".
The way Legacy has a toggle, have a way to toggle new rules off so people who paid for original 5e can utilize it without jumping through hoops. Or simply make a 2014 and 2024 sections of DDB
Many others have the same issue because not everyone wants to transfer to a newer system or start buying a whole new set of books and materials if they bought everything in the previous edition, and for an app the rose to fame on that edition let people utilize the stuff they paid for like they were able to before, without a headache.
New Most "Requested Feature" - A dev team to actually develop and build DDB :P. There has been exactly zero progress since DDB was bought out by WotC and Hasbro. All I've seen is WotC shove new content in using old tools. Just enough effort for people to buy new shit.

Not sure if it's been suggested or mentioned but could there be an option to allow for more sharing with the Master Tier? As a Pro DM being able to share content with only 5 campaigns is stretching me a little thin, especially when I'm welcoming new players into the game. I'd consider a Pro level tier if it meant that I could share content with any and all of my campaigns and one shots (of which there are many!) Just a thought I'd figure I'd toss into the pond. :)

Request the ability to search for a phrase. If multiple words are searched for, you get every article that mentions any of the words, not all of them.

I'd be happy if they added a search field in the breadcrumb bar when a source is open. IE:
B > Sources > Dungeons & Dragons > Players Handbook :: 🔎 ________________

heck, I would settle for a token maker and a map making with tokens like inkarnate

I would love for their to be an integrated voice and video chat like Roll20.
Also I wish my DM rolls had 3d Dice used, when rolling from maps
