Add a true Campaign Management Solution, like LegendKeeper (https://www.legendkeeper.com). Seriously, purchase LegendKeeper, integrate it into D&D Beyond, adding support for internal links to purchased materials, characters, encounters, maps, ...
Token maker and map maker like inkarnate would be fine too.
Please make a toggle to turn off access to 2024 rules & classes in Character creation/Campaigns.
If people prefer using 5e, make a toggle to turn off 2024 content just like with Legacy since it looks close enough like 5e but absolutely breaks the game if one person creates a class in 2024 by mistake.
Many long time users i feel are in the same boat, all books and content made for 5e are much harder to utilize and it will drive people away from using the platform in general.
Are you not being upfront with players about what is and isn't allowed?
Or do you want a free copy of the 2014 books?
Like...I want a toggle, too, but if you(assuming you're a DM) aren't telling your players what is or isn't allowed, or not content sharing in a dummy campaign for the purposes of such on here, that behavior isn't on the site. If you aren't legally sharing 2014 content you own via the tools that exist, I advise you do so.
No I don't want anything for free, I want a way to block mixing of 2014 and 2024 assets.
I have been a DM level member for 6 years, paid for all core rules, expansions and pretty much everything related to 2014 5e to be able to share the access to my players. However the platform as it is currently presents 2024 rules first and have an extremely similar design to 2014 which makes it harder to distinguish what can be utilized.
I have been upfront to all my players and it still happens even with veteran players and DMs who play in my games have mistakenly taken a 2024 Background or Classes simply because it is designed to look as the original "Core rules".
The way Legacy has a toggle, have a way to toggle new rules off so people who paid for original 5e can utilize it without jumping through hoops. Or simply make a 2014 and 2024 sections of DDB
Many others have the same issue because not everyone wants to transfer to a newer system or start buying a whole new set of books and materials if they bought everything in the previous edition, and for an app the rose to fame on that edition let people utilize the stuff they paid for like they were able to before, without a headache.

That's part of why it's so infuriating (that and the total silence on it, even if I believe the devs have their hands tied by Hasbro/WotC). It was so convenient to use. My entire incentive was for the convenience of my players, and not having to trouble shoot their sheets anymore. Just make a toggle, or filter, or a whole separate sub for a rolled back version of DDB for 5e only.
Now I'm troubleshooting sheets again, why do I want to pay for that when I can just switch back to pen and paper? If I could easily filter out the books I don't want to use (it was bad enough when Rick and Morty kept showing up in searches), I'd happily re-sub my master tier.
New Most "Requested Feature" - A dev team to actually develop and build DDB :P. There has been exactly zero progress since DDB was bought out by WotC and Hasbro. All I've seen is WotC shove new content in using old tools. Just enough effort for people to buy new shit.

Not sure if it's been suggested or mentioned but could there be an option to allow for more sharing with the Master Tier? As a Pro DM being able to share content with only 5 campaigns is stretching me a little thin, especially when I'm welcoming new players into the game. I'd consider a Pro level tier if it meant that I could share content with any and all of my campaigns and one shots (of which there are many!) Just a thought I'd figure I'd toss into the pond. :)

I'm just your everyday dungeon master. Ignore that jar full of souls. And those bones in the corner are just props, don't worry. I'm definitely NOT a lich. Definitely.
i want to triple this. Especially when i start working on converting 3rd Party material to DnD Beyond, I need to be able to add the weapons, armors, and mundane items/tools/etc to this tool! I'm not sure why this hasn't been implemented AT ALL yet.
I just yesterday noticed that the NPCs I had been building for our campaign (for our DM, to relieve them of a little work) had been missing two crucial tabs when sharing: Background and Notes. I have been sharing a dozen or so NPCs, and my DM never noticed these two tabs were missing ^^; This... shocked me, tbh. I don't mind a toggle to turn these two tabs on/off, but... er... not being able to share them at all had us panickedly re-structuring our shared data for some of our game-time once we noticed.
It's probably been suggested a long time ago, but making it so I can have a player with "light" undo fog but also create areas where there are "walls" so that the light just doesn't clear everything.
Maybe that's really hard to implement but I do use this VTT for all my games now. Seems like a pretty standard feature.
Anyone else find it jarring that among the 5 DM's tools that Beyond is promoting, the DM Screen stands apart as the only non-digital offering when a digital DM screen has long been requested?

heck, I would settle for a token maker and a map making with tokens like inkarnate

I would love for their to be an integrated voice and video chat like Roll20.
Also I wish my DM rolls had 3d Dice used, when rolling from maps

We should also have homebrew upgraded. I want to make containers and arrows.
We need an editor for sidekicks from TCoE.

Simple things that should have been done years ago (and in some cases have been on the "roadmap" for years)

Homebrew items are busted. Need to be able to:
- Adjust Range of existing weapons
- Adjust attack of existing weapons (not just add new stuff)
OR
Create weapons with their own attacks/properties AS DETERMINED BY THE CREATOR and not some pre-existing template that does not fit whatsoever.
