It would be great to have the option to filter third-party content separately from partnered content. I usually allow all WotC published content (including partnered content) exclusively, which makes it a bit tricky to navigate now that third-party books are being added. If I could just not buy the third-party book and not see anything it would be fine, but the "free demo" subclasses and spells make things more complicated. For instance, a Chronomancy Wizard would be a-ok, but there's no way currently to include it in lists without also including Cobalt Soul Monk that I'm aware of, so I have to remember which ones are from which source, which is fine now but I could see getting exponentially more difficult in the future.
Just a minor thing that I know would at least make my experience better. I don't want to assume too much but the fact that there's already a third-party tag in the store makes me hopeful that this is possible.
I would like to be able to create base items (non magical items, weapons, and armor I have things from 2nd edition arms and equipment and BECMI that i want to add to my game.
Would it be possible to have a customisable list of languages available within campaigns? -f configured, languages that do not appear on the list would not be selectable on the character sheet for a PC that is part of that specific campaign.
I find it rather inconvenient (especially when introducing new players to my homebrew setting) that the dropdowns are crowded with languages that do not exist in that setting (Marquesian and Zemnian, for instance, are specific to just one canon universe, and I would love to exclude them as
i will give you an advice though, for the zemnian language and the likes, they are partnered content from critical role. so just disable the switch on the charcater saying "critical role" and that should remove everything from the sheet that has to do with critical role.
While that is a good point, there are things from CR I do allow into the game, it is just the languages I want to filter. It was just one example anyway, since a lot of the setting-specific books introduce new languages.
With the new and upcoming feats having prerequisite feats, it would be nice if there was a way to take those feats in the character builder or during level up without having the previous feat needed. For instance in Bigbys, you have to have the Strike-of-the-giants feat before the character creator will let you take any of associated giant feats like ember-of-the-fire-giant or fury-of-the-frost-giant. I get that they're like a "feat tree" but it also removes the option to taking these feats as like a boon or gift or DM permission to just take it anyway.

On the "Home" Section of the Character Builder, there's a toggle option for "Use Prerequisites: Feats", just turn that off, and you can use any Feats at any time without having met any of the Prerequisites.
You can also do this from the "Features & Traits" Section of the Character Sheet, under "Manage Feats", then "Settings", then toggle off the "Use Feat Prerequisites" option.
Please create a customize option for currency in the player sheet so we can utilize the brass, bronze, steel of Dragonlance or any homered currencies we might want to use.
I'm sure it's been requested before, but a way to automatically filter searches by owned content especially in the encounter builder would be great. I hate having to reselect all my books whenever I clear my cookies.
I would love to be able to add 20, or even just 10 basic items to the new maps alpha:
Table
Chair
Bed
Cart
Barrel
Rock
Tree
Log
Chest
Bush
Add them as homebrew monsters, add an image for the icon, then add them to the maps and move them around as needed.
They'll be circular, and I believe they have to be jpg so no Alpha channel for a clear background, but it's a viable workaround for if you need them functionally (if they need to be moved during a session/encounter), and not just aesthetically. If it's aesthetics only then you could just add these things to maps before uploading them, assuming you're using your own maps, or screenshot the official map, then add them using GIMP, or similar software, then re-upload as your own map.
None of this is ideal, obviously, but they're both viable workarounds while we await more features to be developed.
This has probably been requested before, but it would be nice to be able to customise the range of homebrew items.
Actually the entire homebrew item system needs an overhaul, especially for weapons. It's bizarre you you HAVE to base homebrew on an existing item, then edit out properties you don't want individually. For the ranges thing, if you want a weapon with a range of 15/30, it's literally impossible because there are no published weapons with those ranges. It seems like an easy fix to make that a free-text field.
Feature Request: More Detailed Character Cards on Website's Campaign Page
At the moment the character cards/listings on for campaigns on the website are very basic and just say the character's name, race, class level and player names. However on the mobile app you have a bit more detail, such as current hit points, armour class, passive senses and exhaustion tracking.
I feel like it would be good to make everything a bit more uniform across platforms, updating the information that is displayed on the web browser view of the campaign manager to include the same stuff as the mobile app.
That way we'll see the same info no matter which platform we are using to manage our campaigns.
Please, for the love of God, just give me a button to filter Owned/shared Content!!!
That has been asked for since, i think 2020 or earlyer and the only reason not to implementig it was: "oh you could forget you put the Filter in and miss the other content"... NO just NOOO
Correct me if there is a real reason, but until then, all i hear is: "Nah, we want to push every purchase possibility in your Face because we want your MONEYYYY and wont miss a single opportunity"
Feedback that I'm positive will be discarded because $$$:
Release the content I've purchased at a reasonable time. I had a two hour block I could read today, but unfortunately it's still arbitrarily exclusive to the folks that preordered via Wizards.
At this point, my leniancy has been stretched enough and I'm unsure that I'd care for whatever their explanation is. The company is US-based and the latest I can see being justified is 12-3am PT. Anything beyond that is something the company can fix, but is unwilling to (probably due to greedy executives). These books used to be available at midnight in my time zone before all this pre-order exclusivity.
Not even saying I'm upset with pre-order exclusivity, but it is October 17th and I'd like to access the book that's been available via if you pre-ordered for a good while now.

The process that syncs the entitlement server (the part of the system that determines who owns what) with the content server (the part of the system that actually stores the information) is not one that can just be run at a push of a button with zero issue. These are two different databases that run on different server nodes (D&D Beyond, like almost every company in the world that isn't a tech monolith) uses external servers to store and manage data, specifically AWS. Pushing a change to these servers requires supervision as anything from increased load to a node outage to a code bug can cause issues.
This is why book releases occur around 1400 UTC, which is 0900 in the timezone the D&D Beyond offices are located. It means the release happens when the team is in and able to observe the process to ensure no issues occur, and if they do, they can be promptly rectified.
This is also why the release window is a target and not a guarantee. Things can go wrong, things beyond the control of the team.
I would really appreciate if we could get a feature that lets us add Supernatural Gifts or Epic Boons to our character sheet, without having to homebrew them. I especially would like to use the species-based Supernatural Gifts at character creation.
Add a tracking system for gems / jewelry / art / other valuables by container (note that "other possessions" and "notes" are not sufficient). Have the g.p. value of such items in the character's posession roll up into a new bin in the character bank.
Perhaps this would be most easily implemented by adding a checkbox to item customization in manage inventory such that any items checked would have their gp value (or override) added to an "other valuables" bin in the character bank alongside the monetary categories: i.e. gold xx, electrum xx, silver xx ... other xx. That way any item could be customized into a gem or a jeweled version of the item via the current customization system, the difference being that it's value could then be tracked in the character bank.

Please add a tab to the DND Beyond site that houses all of the maps available from sourcebooks. For example: Collections>My Maps

I'd like to formally request that the Circle of Wildfire class feature, Summon Wildfire Spirit, be added to the Extras Section.
That way it can work with the new Maps features under companions.
Thank you.
