Is this where can I suggest a feature I am missing on Dnd beyond?
would it be possible I could enter a small box with a note or a comment in purchased books?
I would like to write a note when I run adventure so I can keep up with what’s happening, foreshadow or add more info. Or keep track of what players already know.
or in rules I could enter my home brew notes, that could be visible to everyone in my campaigns? has it already been suggested?
It has already been suggested, but it is always good to express your interest even if it has. It helps them to know how widespread interest in particular features are.
I don’t know if this feature already exists, but if so, I’ve yet to find it.
I’d like to be able to change some of the characteristics/tags of the base weapon when I create a magic weapon (like Heavy, Versatile, Two-Handed, Finesse etc.).
It seems ridiculous that you can give a magic item the ability to cast high level spells and magical effects that bend reality, but (for example) a magical glaive being wielded by a halfling, kobold, gnome or goblin is somehow stretching the bounds of credibility too far.
Any plans to enable us to edit damage dice count / size on a homebrew magical weapon?
For example, I'm trying to make a dagger which deals 2d4 piercing damage, but no matter what i add to it, it will only roll 1d4+dex. I know I can make a custom action to do what I'm asking, but it's mindboggling to me that such a simple thing is not present in the item creator.
I would LOVE that when setting my Character Sheet to "Private", that it also does not show my Class(es).
The thought process behind this is:
I plan to run a complete Homebrew Campaign with my current Group in -roughly- a year (due to playing a Campaign now already). In this New Campaign, I would like them to have the -option- of not telling their Party the "complete truth" on what Class(es) they may be. For example, a Player playing a Bard may not want the Party to know they can Cast Spells (for RP reasons), so they tell the Party that they are a Rogue ... basically.
This should be a simple option available for Players (in my opinion), but the Players openly seeing this just leads to meta-knowledge being hinted at or just flat out being introduced without the Player having the option to introduce this on their own when their RP sees fit.
Has there been a request so far for linking familiars to a character sheet? It would be nice to have a fast way of pulling up a familiars stat block
Do you mean the Extras section that's been there for almost a year?
touche.
though if a character supports one of those it'd be nice to have that in the character builder automatically
but... it doesn't need to be in the character builder because you're looking at the sheet for that info.

Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"
When 6e comes out, keep the 5e section of the site with all the posts and books and stuff. Like, people can still post 5e topics and read 5e books that they purchased.
One thing that has plagued my games as of late is how cannot BUY items and have the currency removed from my total funds. A player has to add the item to their inventory then remove the currency independently of each other.
Seeing how there is the incoming containers functionality. Is there any current work on a currency/buy/sell functionality?
I know not much of a hassle in the grand scheme of things, but still quality of life and all...

by that logic there should be hardly anything in the character builder.
classes that have things that end up in extra as part of the rules should have a prompt in the builder.
It had its own sheet for a while in the charcater sheet and it could be added through the sheet. heres the thing... no classes has familiars as part of the class. the only exception would be beast master. anything else has an option to have one by casting the find familiar spell, so i'd say its right for it not to be in the character builder. because i don't think you'd ever want to go back to the builder to switch it everytimes you cast find familiar and change the shape of your familiar. so it makes sense that it is in the extra tab. which by the way became so big, thats why it became the extra tab to begin with.
it made more sense, since we had mounts, familiars, wildshapes, it started to be cluttered a lot to have each tabs. so it made sense for them to mix them all into one extra tab.

Hello, all! First time posting, please pardon me if I get something wrong or if I'm not privy to info.
Would it be reasonable to request that there be some kind of dark mode or something along those lines for the site? If there's something in development like that, then I hope that things go smoothly!

Am I missing something?
I would like being able to make homebrew classes even if I can not share with community.

Clicking on the "Cast" button of a spell should automatically roll the associated dice
For example, clicking "Cast" for 5th-level Cure Wounds should automatically roll 5d8+MOD.

Anyone know when they might add the Extra section for the Beyond character app?
It was recently mentioned to be in the works. It's even on the Trello board.
