I would love for there to be roll-tables for things like magic items, random encounters and such. I know there already are in the DMG and a couple other books, but I want one that contains things from all my owned sources. Since DDB is digital I fell like this should be doable. Like you could choose for example magic items, then choose which rarity and then from what sources, or something like that.
I wish that when Homebrew ring class features, racial traits, and feats where we can add spells I wish the “charges” portion worked there and that we could designate Ki/Sorcery points as charges.
You finally got me to click! Specifically on the "Life Domain Cleric" post, because the player who heals me most often is one. This prompted me to find this page to ask for things that could help me:
Better PDF printout - specifically support add-ons like mounts and familiars. Since Covid-19, I run a game for my kids, nephew, and my nephew's friends. And my wife. Because of the age of some of the kids, I maintain some of the character sheets (my younger son is 10, and my wife is old school pen & paper).
Ability to open spells in dndbeyond from the character sheet. My DM wants us to paste a link to the spell into the game chat, but while the character sheet makes it super easy to access a spell's stats when I'm in my character sheet, it doesn't make it easy to copy and paste a link to the spell for my GM.
Thanks much - dndbeyond is the best online sheet in the game.
I love D&DBeyond but loathe using the search engine. Either I'm not using it correctly or there's a problem. Might just be me though.
It’s not you.
I love how you've mostly given up on the fluff and just cut straight to the point nowadays, Sposta :P
to keep a post on topic though: Yes, SEO within Beyond gets another updoot from me.

Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"
I just wanted to say, probably already has been stated, but I'd love to see more content from other content creators and the tools to implement them. You could setup basic functionality like "if this character is a lich, their hp is reduced by (Amount)" or something, and it could even be more programmy instead of "ease of use". A great example I would love to see added would be Kingdoms and Warfare from MDCM, and Grim Hollow transformation.

Not that I'm trying to be a naysayer particularly, I do believe that DDB should focus on correcting core content and building tools for DMs of core content first and not venture into becoming everyone's niche programming department.
I doubt it would be very difficult to support this format seeing how most of things I mention is already either in progress or was brought on during tashas cauldron. This would be the same, but just give access to other supplement makers and they could easily hire a person to facilitate troubles with the extra revenue that would bring on.

Core content should remain a priority IMO, whether the request seems technically feasible is not the issue.
Is there an updated link for the planned features roadmap? All I can find is the old archived Trello Link.
Not currently; they are still sorting out how to do that efficiently and effectively. There is supposed to be news about a new portal soon. If I understood Joe/am remembering correctly, on last week's development update I think they implied they might be talking about that this coming Thursday on the update. But I could be wrong.

Allow players to shift initiative. Very frequently, I have a player that wants to delay their turn and lower themselves in initiative for the encounter as some strategic play. This usually happens after I start running the encounter. Right now, I often end up adding either adding a manual entry saying "*PC Name* New Initiative" and end up giving them two turns by accident, or I try writing down elsewhere and accidentally skip them for a couple rounds until they speak up. If it happens early enough in the encounter, I end up restarting the encounter and asking for everyone's initiative again. No matter what I try, it just ends up feeling clumsy.
A lot of your requests sound awesome. This one, though, doesn't seem likely to ever happen given that it's not RAW. In RAW 5e, initiatives never change. When you use the Ready an Action action, you declare what will trigger that action, then you use your reaction to implement it. There are a few other restrictions, but fully changing initiative is completely a house ruling that is unlikely to be supported.
I think it would be very nice to be able to put character sketches or other images on the character sheet on the description tab and under the Appearance sub-heading.

agree to that... we can already do it with portrait so it would be easy to do it in the appearance tab which is literally designed for that.

any idea if they are close to finishing the Extra section for the D&D beyond player app?
Filtering searches by sourcebook.
e.g. If I want to search for "Avernus" but not from BGDIA. Or Drow but not in OotA.

A book of recipes in D&D for items, magic items, potions, etc.
