I think the only thing I dislike about character creation is the starting equipment set up. I feel like you should just click it and then it should add to your character sheet. That is the only glaring issue that I can see, and even then it is mostly a me being lazy and not wanting to manually search for it thing.
I agree wholeheartedly. If i wasnt lazy, I wouldnt use digital tools.
Noticed that non-svirneblin can take the svirneblin only feat. Could especially be a problem for new players rolling randomly on their characters and not realizing race requirements.

Apologies for not looking through 66 pages of forums to see if this has already been addressed, but there's not a good way that I have found to use hit dice during a short rest. Am I just missing something?
Also the mechanism for adding spells is clunky. I don't like that I have to hit "Load More" every couple of scrolls and I also would like to be able to expand the spell beyond just its name and level when I'm picking which spells my character knows.
I'm having this issue in character creation where if i try to add more than 10 items (filling an efficient quiver) then the system refuses to add the items.

Hi Talwren,
just hit the SHORT REST button under the LIMITED USE section and you'll get a pop-up that allows you to select how many HD to recover. You then click the TAKE SHORT REST button on that popup.

Hi MinistryOfHugs,
the equipment manager is going through an overhaul anyway, due to feedback like this.
Something that is worth knowing though is, if you add 1 arrows through the equipment manager, that "arrows" is actually a stack of 20 arrows.
Hello! this is very cool and super useful! I do have a question, I play with a group that does starting feat as our house rule. Will there be way for Players or DMs to put house rules on campaigns?

Yes, but that doesn't help for putting in javelins... But thank you!
Also, when I added xp to my character sheet, not everything updates when the character level ups. It shows the correct level my list of characters but the wrong level on the character sheet under my characters name (where it says "Female Tiefling Rogue 1) and the wrong level in the character editor (class section).
I see there's a workaround: I can go into the editor and change the level there which will then allow me to calculate my new hp (although I still have to do the math of what my old total was with my new rolled number. This is cumbersome and too prone to forgetting things when I level up. As others have requested, I'd rather have a level up dialog.

I believe that is because when you level up your character level, you aren't choosing what class you are leveling at that time. I agree it isn't directly intuitive, but leveling up from level 3 to level 4, doesn't mean that you were a rogue 3 and are now a rogue 4, you could be a rogue 3/barbarian 1 potentially, based on the standard rules with multiclassing. It doesn't automatically choose what class you are putting a level into, because you have the choice to put it into a different class.
Edit: I think a tooltip/popup when you level asking you what class you wish to take, or a reminder stating to "not forget to choose the class you are leveling up" would go a long way.

So far love this but the character builder needs work. Leather armor can't be equipped and it would be nice on the character sheet pack items (explorers pack ect.) would be displayed instead of just the pack name.

You might be. When you click "Short rest" in that little menu up near the character picture, you can check those boxes. Those are each worth a hit die. When you click "Take a short rest", they are expended to add to your HP. The appropriate amount of hit dice will refresh after a long rest.
There should be a way to build a pre existing character by simply inputting stats from your current sheet without having the game apply all of the features. It throws off the math a bit, for me at least

I had no issue equipping leather armor, once you add it to your equipment list you then equip it. I did on a first level Barbarian. What kind of character and how are you trying to equip the armor?
I haven't read through everything so if this is a duplicate I appologize but when I made a Paladin spell sheet it only gave me the option of choosing one oath.
For the beta, only the rules and options provided in the D&D 5th edition SRD , D&D 5th edition Basic Rules, Elemental Evil Companion are available in Beyond. Once the full platform launches later this summer, the core rule books and others will be available for purchase, and the content within will be available for those that purchase, or have access through a DM's subscription.

Now it's that I can't add any items...

How do you get a one-armed goblin out of a tree?
Wave!

Bard Magical Secrets spells are not showing in spell list. They are showing as an "at will" additional feature
