My understanding is that the pricing of the bundle is 15% the total cost of all the content found in the bundle. When you purchase items from that bundle the exact amount of money you spend is deducted from that total. Essentially you could "beat" the pricing of the bundle if you wait for coupons and deal to purchase items at more than 15% off.
As Tiger said. You've clearly bought books out of the bundle already. If you have been using coupons when you do, you reduced the bundle cost by less than the price of the books, and you still have the remainder.
If there were no coupons, the way DDB models their prices would be better than fair. But because they have so many coupons, it causes their bundles to be less fair by comparison. But something to remember is that when you buy the bundles, you will never end up spending more total than the discounted price (even if you are spending 60$ on just the future discount and no books).

I understood everything but this. You're saying if I buy the bundle, which is currently more expensive than just buying the remaining books individually, I will always have the cheapest prices in the future? I'm just lost on this part.
The bundle discount is less than the discount it gives on future purchases (like 13% for the legendary, probably like 9% off for the sourcebook, I haven't done the math for it though).
If you have bought anything with discount codes, it is the discounted price that you paid, not the current full price, that is deducted from the bundle cost. This is why the bundle may be less than the remaining book cost, especially if you were using $10 off or 25% off codes.
The bundle discount is applied to future purchases in that bundle's category (sourcebooks, adventures, all rulebooks). That discount can also be applied on top of coupon codes.
So buying the sourcebook bundle now will give you 10% off all future sourcebook purchases.
Note that sometimes there are discount codes that also / only work with the bundles, and so you might be able to get it for cheaper later. But they are unpredictable.

Well that too. When you buy the bundle, books that come out in the future are also discounted.
But what I meant is whatever the unreduced bundle price is is the highest total cost you can spend even by buying the books individually before buying the bundle. And that price is already discounted.

If I buy the remaining source books, the total comes to $70. The Source Book Bundle is marketed to me at $162. What is going on?
Remaining Source Books individual prices:
Total $69.96
