Hey! I have a character I created in Fantasy Grounds but I'd like to import her into DnD Beyond. Is that possible? I have her exported from FG as an XML file already. I can find lots of information on DnD Beyond to FG but not the other way around
Hello. I am new to ONLINE RPG gaming, but not to D&D in general. I have a character that was created on paper but I would like to bring him to D&D Beyond for a campaign. Is this possible and if so, how would I do that? I have my PHB, MM in hard copy.... when I try to create a Drow here on D&D Beyond, it doesn't list the Drow as a race of elf.... Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

You will need to buy the digital copy of those books or just specific content from those books to recreate your character on D&D Beyond. Alternatively, if you do not want to spend money, you will have to spend time on the homebrew tools and enter the content manually into Beyond from the books.
Ahhhh, ok. LOL, any way to make a buck, I guess. Thanks for the help
Hello. There are countless explanations on why your hard copies do not apply to this website, so I will not bother beating that long dead horse. What I will offer however, is a solution for you if $1.99 is just an unacceptable price tag to use Drow here. You can homebrew the subrace and the only cost to you is your time. You can homebrew just about anything you can imagine in fact. Just do not try to publish official content (as in, keep it for your private game).
Hello all, I'm relatively new to DND online though not completely new to DND itself. I have a custom homebrew character that I want to import to DnD beyond so that I can use it in a campaign but I need some help importing it in. I created a natural born Werewolf Monk that comes from a tribe werewolves that evolved from regular werewolves in DnD. Can anyone help me import it or walk me through step by step on how to recreate it here?

You might want to visit the homebrew subforum and check out Sposta's FAQ and Stormknight's tutorial on homebrew.
Keep in mind the homebrew tools are limited in what it can do, since the tools are only designed to implement things from the official game (and even then, it still could not implement everything from the game), so it is not able to do anything outside of that (e.g.: you can homebrew subclasses, but you cannot homebew classes). If it involves calculating or tracking certain things in a weird way or breaking certain norms, you will need to find a work around (spell points are not implemented, but you can keep track of it with feats, but it is really clunky) or it might not be implementable at all (you cannot have 7 or more attunement slots).
It’s because on DDB you have to buy the books for you to have access to the things in them. Or you could be in a campaign with content sharing enabled and someone else has the books.

Unfortunately there is no way to do,so. You would have to rebuild her here.
