I pay for a membership because I love making so many characters. The one thing I NEED in D&D Beyond is a way to add tags to characters or folders or something so you can sort them.
It's a little thing, but just being able to share the dice I buy with everyone in my campaign. I can share the expensive stuff, but not the pretty math rocks...stinks.
A subscription level that allows you to groups of books during character creation. I would rather pay $10-$15 a month for access to the rule books than $500 plus for access as long a WoTC has the servers up.
Some sort of Logsheet to write where and when you aquired certain items
Item list seperate from your character sheet that allows you to move items from your item sheet to your character and back.
I'd love it the My Campaigns page preview would either hide unclaimed campaign characters or at least prioritize displaying active characters. It would help if deactivated characters wouldn't show up in the preview. I've got three active characters in one of my campaigns, and only one of them shows up in the preview alongside unclaimed pre-gens.
I'll second this one. I was searching for the "Climb onto a Bigger Creature" rule. I type that into the search bar. Exactly 0 of the 35 results have anything to do with that optional rule in the DMG, but it did suggest I search for "clump only a badger creature"

We were searching for scroll crafting and found the rule quicker in the hardcover. Then we literally typed the title of the section regarding the topic and it returned 0 results. We did find it in dndbeyond right were it was in the HC but it shouldn't be that hard. If dndbeyond doesn't make it easier it's pointless to use.
The ability to alter core class features for custom classes, but I think DDB is done adding new actual features since WOTC bought them
I came back to check out D&D beyond after, god knows how long since I've used it to actually play, and there's all of zero real changes to functionality, I think all the rumors that WOTC bought D&D beyond to remove competition and plans to kill it once they get their microtransaction store VTT up and running are true

I know it is not the same. But a possible workaround is to separate your characters into 'groups' by using a special character at the start of their name. That way, when you sort by name, they are somewhat ordered. And special characters are easier to "ignore" when reading the name than eg. "My folder/".
Use it or ignore it =0)

Randomized dice rolls, instead of the not working physical dice roller.

I would LOVE this!
I feel like I've commented in this thread before, but my list is still:

A search function that works properly.
CENSORSHIP IS THE TOOL OF COWARDS and WANNA BE TYRANTS.

They have a darkmode for character sheets, I use it on all of mine.
That already exists:

I'd like to see Cubicle 7 Adventures in Middle Earth incorporated so I can create characters with those races/classes/feats/character sheets.

The rule is here, by the way: https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/dmg/dungeon-masters-workshop#ClimbontoaBiggerCreature
Right on, thanks for the help. Didn't think turning the phone sideways would change the UI.
Agree fully.

Search and Campaign Management are probably the weakest parts of the site. Neither feature appears to have been upgraded or improved over the years.
6E getting close yet?
Offline access to my rulebooks on a laptop?

Sort it the feck out.
