I have a decent collection of late 80s through to early 00s dice, but pride of place is a pair of Bristol wargaming Dice from 1970. Feel free to join my new facegroup group for Vintage D&D and RPG Dice collecting :) Collectors of Vintage Dice 1970s 80s and 90s | Facebook
I just started and I only have two sets. I often use the blue cat dice, and the purple liquid core dice I bought because they looked good. These two sets of dice can almost meet the dice equipment I need for playing games.

Those black and purples are GORGEOUS, holy cow. Who's the maker of those?

I also want to know... for research... yeah, research.
Or......you could buy a large pen/pencil case at Amazon. No dragon design but plenty of space to hold dice, reading glasses, a machinist's scale and a couple pens.
Hope I'm not necro'ing a defunct thread, better to search than start my own I figure.
I'll do a more comprehensive, matching set of pictures later but I have... like four or six other dice sets in delivery right now so I kinda want to wait until I stop buying them before I do a proper rundown.

When it comes to dice, I prefer dice with bright and vivid numbers so that you can tell at a glance which number is on top without having to closely examine each die. The dice pictured are perfect. Congratulations!!

Precisely why those green dragon dice are probably my least favorite and will continue to go unused. The rest aren't bad. The clockwork ones I just got in tonight... These pictures don't quite do them justice. They're more clear than is immediately apparent.
Does anyone know any place to buy cheap but high quality dice?
I know of only two (2) sources: paizo.com and amazon.com. Paizo was once the commercial arm of TSR and it went off on its own after Wizards bought out TSR. Amazon, of course, sells everything under the sun. If you go to one of the game fairs, GenCon being one of them, you will find more dice vendors.

Honestly I just kinda google "-something- dice" like bullet, dragon, clockwork, or whatever theme I'm looking for. There's some metal dice I got from Nordic Foundry for 40 bucks and that's kind of a personal cap, I don' t think I want to spend that much on dice again. It's just a matter of scrolling through stuff and finding what you like at decent prices.

Way too many dice to show. My favorites to use are the sets of Avalore style dice from Die Hard Dice.
Meanwhile, a few of my dice from the late 80s...

We need an update on your collection, LaTia!
