Do you have a master tier subscription? That's the only one that lets you share content. Assuming you do, you create a campaign (go to Collections > My Campaigns > create a new one). In that campaign, you'll see a button to enable content sharing. Once enabled, all content owned by anyone in the campaign is shared with everyone in that campaign. To allow your group members to join the campaign, send them an invite link - it'll be shown on the top right of the campaign page.
Only characters created inside of the campaign have access to the content in the character builder. The limit to the number of characters per campaign is much higher than the number of players per campaign, though, so players can have multiple characters inside a campaign, allowing them to have their man PC and also create characters for one-shots. But they must be created or moved into a campaign with content sharing turned on, or they won't have access to other users' licensed material.
The limit to the number of characters per campaign is much higher than the number of players per campaign….
In fact, the limits are 12 players/campaign and up to 99 PCs/player/campaign. That means potentially up to (almost) 1,200 PCs can use content sharing in one campaign.
Can I chose which book I want to share? I don't really want to share the Campaing book for the Campaing under play.
You can choose to hide that compendium and the players won’t be able to read it, but they he player options will still be available for them to select on their character sheet so whenever they find loot in game they can quickly add it without your having to constantly block and unblock anything.
Does everyone that owns content share it or is it only the people with a master tier subscription?
If someone with a master tier subscription turns on content sharing, then any purchased content from any player that has a character in that campaign, is shared with everyone else in that campaign.
Do you owned the shared books after leaving the campaing if you were not the one buying them? if so can you create a new campaing and keep sharing them?
I'm a master tier subscriber. If we built characters first and then later created a campaign, which everyone joined, I can't share content because no characters we created IN the campaign. Is that right?

Hey there,
I have a subscription to the page. I'm wondering how I share source books with my DnD group members.

Want to start playing but don't have anyone to play with? You can try these options: [link].
Thank you
Can my players use the content outside of the campaign? Like if they’re creating a character for a one-shot?
