That is a question for the print shop. I think its just a JPG, so there are not dimensions associated with it other than number of pixels. Keep in mind that at large sizes you will see jagged edges along lines.
Pixelated is fine, it's just trying to get the 1inch scaling right for people's minis and tokens. So far all of the printshops I've stopped by are unhelpful with scaling so I'd I have to do it myself I guess and bring em back to them.
So, you basically gotta count how many squares are on a side, and then you'll know your dimensions in inches. It's probably going to be quite large.
I would strongly consider drawing this map out on reusable grid paper or, honestly, just not using a formal map at all. But if you're really gonna get some mileage out of the map, go for it.
I print maps at home. I adjust the scaling for one sheet until I get it to 1” boxes. Then I print the whole thing, cut the edges off with scissors, and tape it all together.
It isn’t perfect but it works. And it’s a lot less expensive than going to a print shop is!
Can I just bring the image it to any print shop that does posters and it'll print to scale or do I have to resize it or anything?
