If you could have a non-TTRPG fantasy setting published for D&D (or its own system), what would it be?
Personally I'd love to see an Elder Scrolls TTRPG. It's got such weird and interesting lore that I think would fit pretty well in a TTRPG.
Discworld would also be super fun, as would Earthsea (though I haven't read much of the latter).
Dark Souls could also be pretty good, but I think the mechanics of the setting much better fit a video game (yes I know there's already a DS TTRPG).
It would probably be a mechanical nightmare, but I would love a tabletop version of Path of Exile. I don't play as often as I used to (owing to the fact my computer is a toaster connected by wires to a potato) but man, that game was fantastic.
Similarly, while there's a board game and (I think) a 5e conversion out in the wild, I would also love to see Darkest Dungeon get a TTRPG, especially if it it had content from The Crimson Court; hands down, the grossest/best take on vampirism I think I've seen.

Here to second Discworld. Could have some really goofy spells and divine shenanigans based on Pratchett's versions of those concepts. Maybe something like Xenoblade Chronicles would be cool? More Sci-Fantasy but it came to mind.

That's a good question for me. because I have a hard time with most fantasy, and so read a lot of other material. SO for a lot of my answers it would require effort to change them over.
A Stephen King universe would be kinda cool to me, using the interconnected stories.
Orphan Black (we're all clones! We are being pursued by an evil corporate planar empire!)
The Murderbot diaries
Tamora Pierce, lol, The Rylee Adamson and attendant series, May's Saga of the Pliocene exile (psionics, baby), Jay Kristoff's Nevernight, Kim Harrison's Hollows...

I mean if we're doing a Discworld sourcebook, then we need one for Asprin's Myth series too, as it's basically the ur-text for modern D&D screwball shenanigans

Active characters:
Carric Aquissar, elven wannabe artist in his deconstructionist period (Archfey warlock) Lan Kidogo, mapach archaeologist and treasure hunter (Knowledge cleric) Mardan Ferres, elven private investigator obsessed with that one unsolved murder (Assassin rogue) Xhekhetiel, halfling survivor of a Betrayer Gods cult (Runechild sorcerer/fighter)
I'd love to see Anne McCaffrey's Pern brought into a 5E setting, and Piers Anthony's Xanth could be really interesting, what with no duplicating of magical talents and all...

Damn, now that would be a trip to try and get through DEI folks like me -- and I loved it! That would be a trip, lol

For something completely wacky, let's go with Big Trouble in Little China. It would be complete insanity. Sorcery, monsters, gang warfare, weird prophecies, The Three Storms, etc, etc. You could create pretty much anything and drop it into that world and it would fit completely. Also a neat mix of modern day firearms and such with ancient magic and swordplay.

I agree about Murderbot. I've only read the first two, but I really liked them.
I almost added Grishaverse to my list, but I swear the way Bardugo is monetizing it there probably will be a game! Lol.
I think Murderbot is just the best. Pretty easy, too, for Eberron basis.

Hmm. That is a difficult question. I would love a Fire Emblem TTRPG, and for the sake of throwing a curveball, I think an Artemis Fowl TTRPG could be fun.

The world of the Dishonored video games would be at the top of the list for me.
After that? Not sure. Maybe the world of the Gentlemen Bastards series from Scott Lynch.
That… would be amazeballs.
