Is there an app to download? How do I access this on my tablet or phone?
A native mobile app is absolutely in the works for DDB, but at this point for the beta everything is included in the website. The site is mobile responsive, so you should be able to view and use it just fine on a phone or tablet. Just visit the site in your device's browser. If something doesn't look right on your mobile device, that's the kind of feedback we want to hear during the beta so we can make it pretty everywhere. We will definitely share more specifics about the mobile app soon, including how to download it.
I did notice while on the mobile version of the website that there was an issue. When I pull up a custom character I created, the section at the top that holds the character HP, AC, etc... can get kind of rubber band-y. It will sit and just pop in and out a few times every so often. It's not a huge deal but I can see it getting annoying in the middle of combat. Especially when you need to hit up that section fairly often. Otherwise things have been running pretty smoothly for me on mobile.
Also on the forum you can't +1 posts via current mobile site access. Known issue AFAIK.
you can, just change to "landscape" mode (turn your mobile device sideways). It's super annoying but once you do that, the form posts look the same as desktop (so AFAIK working as intended)
My apologies if this has already been asked but any word on if this will eventually get an app version? Or will it just use mobile web?
