I pre-ordered the physical/digital bundle in February. Still don't have access. Frustrating.
I was informed that rollout of early access was done... about an hour ago. Sometimes it takes a little longer for everyone to get it. Try syncing your entitlements and seeing if that helps.
For the rest of y'all who are saying you saw digital preorders getting early access some months ago, I would be so so curious to know where you saw that. I know there was a lot of confusion about it when the marketplace update happened, but I don't remember seeing anything like that in our marketing prior to this.

Early Access is a perk of the digital + physical bundle. It only applies to bundles purchased through the WotC store.
US customers who bought the bundle through WotC before April 30th will get the early access. US customers who bought the bundle after April 30th will not.
Early Access remains available for non-US customers buying the bundle through WotC Store.

If you have qualified for Early Access - it has released, but may take time for access to be fully rolled out. A specific time was not promised - it will be rolled out by end of the day. You will need to check your entitlements are in Sync by going to your Account and clicking Licenses. At the top is an Entitlements section. If there is a button to re-sync click that. If you are in sync it will say so.

Well most of us plunked down our cards, made the purchase, and assumed we had no need to capture proof of the offer being advertised at that time. I think the number of customers here with similar stories should at least raise a few red flags.
That's completely fair and I'm not asking you to show me proof so I can go 'HA GOTCHA'.
But like.. if you remember seeing it in a tweet or on the product page in the old marketplace, that's something I might be able to check out and verify. I can't say whether or not it would change anything, but it's something I can bring up like 'hey, this happened last time, can we double check the copy?' so it doesn't happen in the future.
@erikpeterstadnik: you would get early access today if you purchase the bundle. I'd reach out to Customer Support to inquire about the refund, though; I can't answer that for you definitively.

Hey! I think I have an answer for you on this. I ordered the digital edition too expecting early access, and I think the reason for that is most 3rd party sites saying digital granted early access may 7th. I've found several that state this. So looks like I, and everyone else saw those rather than the bundled option? Hope it helps clear some things up!
No, I didn't see it on a 3rd party site. I saw it on DnD's site when I ordered it. The reason everyone (including 3rd party sites) was under this impression is because WToC claimed the digital edition would receive early access. This claim was removed when the Marketplace switched over at the end of April but for those of us who pre-ordered before that, we were promised early access.
See, I thought so. I remember double-checking before I actually hit pre-order and thinking I saw it on DnDbeyond. But now, everywhere I look, it says the bundle, and I thought maybe I was just crazy and had to have gotten it off of one of those sites instead. I pre-ordered on April 4th so I'm right there with you. I'm ready to dive into it and today's been extremely frustrating
Dozens of folks on here have all stated they also remember the product page mentioning early access for digital only preorders .
Conveniently, that product page is no longer active.
Oddly enough the page captures on the wayback web machine from well before the store changed are either broken, or go to the new store. Tell me you are hiding something without saying you're hiding something.
Correcting information where I can, we were actually able to bring back an older marketplace page from just over a week before the marketplace change, as we're also discussing this in the Discord. I can see this clearly, but I don't see anything saying digital preorders get early access.

Personally I don't remember it saying digital-only. I was picking with a fine toothcomb with respect to the prequel adventure (because I wanted that and only pre-ordered to get it), and I was under the impression I'd get it in late May.
Human memory can be fickle, including mine, so I could be wrong. But the impression I was under was I wouldn't be getting early access.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
Chiming in to say that I do distinctly remember early access being listed among the benefits of pre-ordering the digital-only version, and the early access was a major factor in placing the pre-order. The issue with the link from the week before the marketplace change is that it no way resembles the page I saw when I placed my pre-order in March. There is no mention of the digital dice, frames, or backgrounds, which were also listed in the benefits for the pre-order.
Very disappointed in this whole par-for-the-recent-course debacle. I'm definitely unlikely to ever bother pre-ordering anything again, and almost certainly will never purchase physical product directly.
"The Vecna: Eve of Ruin release date is May 21, 2024. However, those who preorder the Eve of Ruin digital version get early access starting May 7. That includes those who bought the Vecna: Eve of Ruin special edition Physical + Digital bundle. "
I have seen several DMs from starplaying posting in the forums as well regarding.
While you can't support "Unofficial Marketing Partners" . I find it strange that all of us + all of these outlets got it extremely wrong and yet exactly the same.

Thanks to both of you for working with folks on this.
I have synced my entitlements, but still no luck.

Okay, so, I clearly misread. Or the offer changed, but let's assume I just mis-read. (I definitely think the marketing could be more explicit, tbh.)
I bought digital only because I live in Czechia, where getting things via mail is an absolute nightmare and takes forever.
If I pre-purchase the bundle now, a) will I still get access today and b) can I get a refund on the digital only pre-order I made?

Understood. I believe the pre-marketplace storefront indicated that the preorder digital-only would also include early access.
https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/bugs-support/196792-vecna-eve-of-ruin-early-access?page=2
and it seems many other customers are reporting the same

i remember on the maps updates (the one when u launch the game) mentioned it being available may 7th with pre order

I know you posted somewhere the wayback machine but you need to go before April. I purchased 3/3 and I know it was there on that day.

D&D StaffI truly thank you for this. I recognize it's a bit too little, too late for it, but we're working to get these corrected.
Additionally, I think the farthest back the wayback machine goes for the Vecna preorder page is March 6th, and that wouldn't load for me. :/
