My DM made a homebrew subclass for druids called circle of souls that's all about the shaman/ witch doctor vibes. It's super cool! He put a lot of emphasis on curses and soul magic.
My favorite shamanistic character so far was a Totem Barbarian/Phantom Rogue. There are plenty spirit/spooky paths to take for just about any class you might want to play, you just need to put in the work to describe your features in the right light.
Man i know this was 2 years ago but something like only resurrecting animals like rats and stuff or you could like strictly resurrect enemys or non-humanoids

My homebrew subclasses (full list here)
(Artificer) Swordmage | Glasswright | (Barbarian) Path of the Savage Embrace
(Bard) College of Dance | (Fighter) Warlord | Cannoneer
(Monk) Way of the Elements | (Ranger) Blade Dancer
(Rogue) DaggerMaster | Inquisitor | (Sorcerer) Riftwalker | Spellfist
(Warlock) The Swarm
So Maybe the best choice is Cleric/Bard/Warlock triple class.
Seems weird but there are definitely Performance aspect to a Voodoo Preist that would speak to Bard.
Hmm ..... Wonder how that would play out!
