I'm worried that at launch the Character builder and some of the missing items/monsters etc. will still not be developed fully. The fact that so much is missing to me is worrisome.

I'm generally okay with the what this is going to cost, but I do find the pricing for the Tyranny of Dragons story kind of insulting. The only reason those were published as separate books is that WotC needed to have a campaign out when 5e released and the second half of the campaign wasn't ready. Publishing them separately cost more which is why they were, together, more expensive than any of the other campaigns. While moving them to a digital format they should have been put together at the same price as the other campaigns. Even then, the other campaigns would have more than 25% more content. Instead we're paying 60% more for this. Ultimately, we're paying over twice as much per page for what is arguably the worst of the campaigns. I don't know if this is Curse's, WotC's, or maybe even Kobold Press's fault, but it's ridiculous all the same. And Lost Mines of Phandelver is even more expensive per page.
I imagine people will tell me that I should just not buy these if I find them overpriced. I probably won't. But that doesn't mean it's not worth pointing out the pricing incongruities. This is also probably going to ultimately be why I don't spring for the legendary bundle. The inflated prices that would cause me to not purchase these items, combined with the sale on the core books, essentially cancels out the discount I'd receive.
Verbal bullying does not open wallets, listening to concerns does.

Maybe not the correct thread to ask this, so sorry if not. If I buy an adventure, can I limit a portion of it for sharing. May want to share certain sections like new races/classes, but don't want them to be able to access the story and plot elements.
Just wondering. Plan on starting with just the core 3 books. Thanks for all the hard work on this.
Not at this time, but table management (disabling specific materials) is something that Staff plans on looking in to implement.

You are hilarious. A person doing their job during their hours of work and then going home and not continuing to do work unpaid (what I said of myself) is not "having only done the bare minimum." (Note: it might be, if they are a lazy coaster sort of person that has no personal pride in their work - but it's not a guarantee like you've implied.) But you go right ahead and pretend you've got some kind of right to consider someone a slacker if they won't do free extra work for you.
As to my approach, I think you are confusing me for someone else - I've not once said anything that can be boiled down to "deal with it."
And yeah, Curse took a different approach... the one I mentioned in my earlier post; they are effectively getting paid to read these forums because a beta test would be impossible without it. Meanwhile, I doubt that anyone at WotC is being paid to read these forums, and so I expect that it is a number far fewer than "every post in these threads" that have actually been read by WotC employees in the collective sense.
Guys, discussion and debate is cool, but this is getting close to becoming a personal argument.
Please don't let it get to the point where a moderator has to step in. :)

Update news for you - the Curse team have heard feedback from people in this thread, and others, and have worked on agreeing a way of allowing partial purchase of adventure modules.
This means, if you already own the physical book for the adventure, you could decide to just purchase the monsters or items from the adventure, for use with D&D Beyond. :)

I'm still confused. forgive me cause this has probably been explained but if i don't purchase the digital copy of the players handbook i won't be able to create characters correct? i'd need access to all of the class/race/equipment information from the players handbook to create a character? i'm not sure i understand what i'm able to do with or without a subscription if i don't purchase digital copies of some of the books.
