So, you bought the Master Tier year's subscription and you are upset you got exactly what was described in the description and what DDB has stated many times you would get for that subscription price? Go through the forums and the moderators repeatedly stated what you get with the subscriptions and that all premium content has to be separately purchased. Or, more importantly ,read the pricing details listed on the website before buying anything:
Nowhere does it say a subscription gives you access to premium content, and it repeatedly states throughout the website that you have to purchase premium content.
As for the campaign section, it is still being developed, and the moderators have explained many features are being planned, and this has been stated several times.
Putting D&D aside, hopefully, you are more thoughtful when you make other purchases in life. You cannot buy something that gives you exactly what it states in the description and then get upset that you received exactly what you paid for.
I'm a Master Tier subscriber. Players as well as the DM, in our campaign where I've activated Content Sharing, can access in the character builder options from content I've purchased, but they cannot read the sourcebooks. Is that how content sharing is supposed to work? I mean, it says everywhere that "players can access all content." Not all crunch... not all character options... all content.
What's the point of being able to have someone else be DM if they can't read my DMG!?
EDIT: This problem has been cleared up - I had to Disable Content Sharing and Enable it again to make it register my content with that campaign.

How can my characters move from one campaign to another without loosing any data. The players only have free subscriptions and I shared out my content, so how can they move there characters to campaign without loosing there data, as it looks like I have to remove that character from one before it can be added to another.

IIRC I believe their characters will retain any information they had been shared so long as it isn't removed.

cool so that should make moving to another campaign with shared content easier.

I agree 100%. Or at least give us the core rulebooks if we join Master Tier for a year...
I was pretty sure when I ordered the Master tier, that I'd get the core rulebooks at least. They were accessible to me for a week or so. Now however, I can't even access the PH! Not sure if it is a glitch, if my account is mistakenly thinking I'm not in the Master Tier, or if they just took the core books (PH, MM, DMG) off the table after I signed on. I'm sure it is my fault but I can't figure it out in "my account". Do I have two accounts??? I'm kinda dumb with stuff like this.

Not sure what would have happened - maybe you had a content sharing campaign set up with someone else who had the PH? (In the top menu - under "My Content" is "Campaigns")
Because unlocked core rulebook content has never been a part of the Master Tier subscription. The only way you should get access to that content is if A) you are in a campaign with someone who has that content (and you turn on content sharing), or if B) you pay for it yourself.
I did read that you get PH, DMG and MM when you sign up for Master tier. I can't remember where. May have been in a forum. I also knew that things are in the development stage. So, being a nice person, I decided to go ahead and pay for a year to contribute some capitol to the effort. You know, so they can continue developing stuff. I'm not sure why I thought access of all my players in my campaigns to the core rulebook content meant that I'd get the PH, DMG and MM, but I did. I'm also not sure why, when running my first campaign through this program, I was able to access all those books and cannot do that now. Maybe it was a trial period?
But, I DID have access to those books and I no longer do. So, you can insult my intelligence about jumping into purchases without knowing what they are all about all you want. I don't care. It wasn't a large amount of money to me and I figured it was for a good cause, so I didn't spend enough time researching it, obviously.
Putting D&D aside, hopefully, you will be more thoughtful when criticizing people in the future when you don't know the whole story.
Thanks for the quick reply. I'm sure the guys in the campaign didn't have access. They made me get the Master Tier and be DM because they couldn't afford anything but the hero tier. I must have been dreaming. (And we do drink beer when playing. Maybe that's why I thought I had access! )

The subscriptions have never granted PHB, DMG etc and this has never been communicated as something that would happen or be considered. Indeed, when it has been asked for, official responses have always been that access to PHB, DMG, MM etc must be purchased separately from a subscription.
Unfortunately, if you read on some forums that a subscription would grant access to these books for you, it was from someone who was misinformed.
If you had access to the PHB & DMG, it will have been because someone in your campaign had purchased those books and someone in the campaign with a master subscription had enabled content sharing.
I like the idea of getting some core material deal with a Master year subscription. How about a LIMITED TIME DEAL on the CORE books. Say within the first 30 of purchasing the Master Year you can buy all three core books as bundle (PHB, DMG and Monsters) at 25% off or roughly $70. You could include the CORE BUNDLE in the MASTER year pricing or, as stated, you would have 30 days to purchase the bundle. You could put a ticker on the subscribers page "x days left to purchase the Masters Core Bundle deal"
You could also have a deal offer with the HERO level YEAR. Perhaps a 25% discount on just the PHB for a limited time.
As a side, you should have a different name for paid YEAR subscription. A YEAR subscription should have NOBLE before itNoble Hero, Noble Master. Just a thought. Gamers like levels.
These are good incentives. If not these then something like this.

It's also plausible that you confused access to the free content (which includes several classes, races, and monsters) with having full access to all the contect of the PHB, MM, and DMG.
Personally, I've been very pleased with the value I've received in purchasing the legendary bundle and master tier subscription. Even if my players never connect and use the content I've shared. For me to have hyper-access to all this content, to be able to homebrew items and monsters, and the ability to link all this into my session planning with OneNote has been a huge productivity and creative boost.
It will only get better as 3rd party products are added and the Campaign Manager is fleshed out.
Well, I am glad you are not upset any longer. I do want to respond by pointing out that nowhere in my post did I insult your intelligence. (I did not call you "stupid," etc.) I simply stated facts. There has never been a trial period where you got premium content with a subscription--the premium content is a permanent purchase independent of a subscription. You either misread or did not read the subscription details.
I was only responding to a series of public posts you made where you suggested that you had been mislead and you wanted a refund. I am sure you know you could have handled the matter privately by simply emailing Curse's customer service. But, you chose to post a series of public comments, so I responded, as people do in public forums. You did not seem to be asking for help, you seemed to be angry and criticizing. I did not say you were a terrible person, I said you needed to pay attention to the description of the product you decide to purchase. (Also, Curse is an Amazon subsidiary, so I am not sure how choosing to purchase a product from a company owned by a huge corporation makes you a "nice person," I think it just makes you a consumer like the rest of us. That said, I am sure you are a nice person to the people in your life). In any event, the free content on DDB is still pretty comprehensive and useful (and you can access it with a free account). But, you may decide later to purchase some of the premium content. Even then, you do not need to keep your paid subscription. The Master Tier just lets you share paid content with others, and if you don't have any paid content or do not plan to share paid content you buy, there is no need to keep it.
How are you linking to onenote. I am currently using it and wondering the best way to link back to DDB. Do you move the content over to one note, or put a web address bar?
I copy the specific hyperlink of a monster, item, rule, or adventure location and paste it in my session prep notes.
Allows me to run a session from my iPad or notebook very efficiently.
I can also link my home brew items.
I am not familiar with OneNote, but I have used DDB campaign creator directly, taking advantage of the tags integrated within the site (like Kobold or Holy Avenger). How do you think the two things compare? (real honest question, I really have never used nor seen OneNote)

OneNote is Microsofts version of note management app. EverNote is another popular app that works similarly.
The tagging that allows pop ups is cool on DDB but doesn't appear to transfer to 3rd party applications like OneNote.
OneNote and EverNote support hyperlinks and are designed to support a much more complex organizational framework. I track for example an entire campaign with session notes, NPC details, setting details, campaign arcs, random Pc Handouts, maps, images, character sheets, DM notes, cheat sheets, idea lists, attached PFFs and more. These tools allow you to tag and organize this content so that you can easily find it later. DDB is basically an RTF text box for notetaking,
