On November 16th we are going to be archiving a large collection of Unearthed Arcana content. We are always happy to work with Wizard of the Coast to keep content up to date, as well as keep our community informed about any changes taking place. This post is part of our efforts to give everyone the information they need to know, and a heads up with time to prepare before this UA is archived.
When a piece of UA is archived, it will have “archived” added to the name of that content. Any characters currently using archived content will still have access to it. Characters that currently have archived subclasses, magic items, and feats will continue to have access to them, they will not be removed and will work as expected. This includes characters using archived subclasses being able to level up and play with them as normal. Archived spells may no longer appear in spell lists for classes that can change their spells out, so we suggest you use the homebrew tools to re-create your own version and make sure to keep it in your private collection if you would like access to those spells.
Archived content will no longer be available for NEW characters, or if you remove the archived content from an existing character it cannot be added back again.
You are more than welcome to use the Homebrew tools to re-create archived content for your personal use. But please remember that if you take this route, do not publicly share it as it is against the Rules.
Below is a list of UA Content that will be Archived on November 16th:

They’re not allowed. The whole reason WotC tells DDB to archive them is to make it so people can no longer simply use those versions. If you want to be able to use those UAs in future, make characters with them now and just save them. Any character that already has them loaded will keep them, so if you wanna play it next year or whenever, you can. To keep it safe from any accidental loss, I recommend making a “copy” that character to actually use that way if you ever need it again, you can just “copy” that character again.
I’m not sure if this has already been suggested (probably), but it could be useful to have a 1-click update for character sheets using archived content that has been turned into official content.
If I understand correctly, an existing UA character will continue using the archived UA elements, without updating to the current official version. While I see the upside of this in some cases, it would be interesting for a player or a DM to be able to upgrade a character without having to go in the editor and adjust everything by hand..
Hello there, What will fill the gap of the spells feats and so on? Is it gonna be on "Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything"?
and "You are more than welcome to use the Homebrew tools to re-create archived content for your personal use. But please remember that if you take this route, do not publicly share it as it is against the Rules." So, I can re-create them myself, but can't copy it from someone how already create it?
Will we know which subclasses will be published in Tasha's, so that I know which UA to copy?
Everything in the first post is being Archived because they are all being published. You can reasonably expect that the vast majority of them will be at least slightly different than their UA versions, and many will get major changes from their UA versions.
Every time a UA goes live on DDB I make a character using it and save it in my “vault,” a campaign I created just to store and organize them. I do that so no matter what happens to them (scrapped, published, altered, what vet), I can still access the original UA version just in case I (or one of my players) ever want to use it at some point for any reason.
If you start your own collection, then you'll be sure to not miss anything you really want.
Was curious, if one of my players wanted to try and homebrew a combination of two paladin oaths, how would I create that if one of them is still in U.A.? When going to create a homebrew, it doesn't give me that Oath as an option to base off of. Or should I just wait until Tasha's release and use the updated version(which hopefully will be available for homebrew)
Thank-you, as always, for the update. It is sad when these things go away. I understand that I can keep them in/on a character and/or make the homebrew version for myself, but it is somehow not as shiny.
Alternatively, become familiar with the mechanics of Dndbeyond Homebrew. Once you figure out the gist of how things work it’s really easy to make just about anything by simply copy/pasting from the original ua pdf and inputting the mechanics yourself. At most it takes about 20 minutes to input an old subclass if you know what you're doing.
I can assure you that I am more than familiar with the homebrewer. I practically live in that thing. It’s what I do. When folks can’t figure out how to make it do what they want and post their question in the forum, 9 times out of 10 I’m the one who explains it to them. At this point some people don’t even post in the forum, they just PM me about it because they know I’ll know, or that I’ll know it’s currently impossible. Yeah, you can get the rough stuff done in 20 minutes, but all the little details that many people aren’t even aware of can take time.

Was wondering when the announcement would happen, given all the UA stuff being published in Tasha's. Thanks for the update!
I´m guessing either most of them or all of them will go to Tasha´s???
I wish the site had an archived section

OK, thank you!
*facepalm* I just realized that these have been published as PDFs by WotC! I can save them to my computer (thanks anyway, though)!
Time for me to make homebrew copies of the tattoos!

A little digging should get you to the table of contents.
Preparations for Tasha's? :)

Does this mean this content is going to be included in the new book?
Or it is being abandoned by WotC. But I believe most of it is supposedly included according to the leaks and rumors.
