Gulp was deeply ashamed of himself - he barely hit a large target while the target hit him hard and way to often for his supposed level of the high art of drunkenness! The monk made a stuttering unsteady move left, then right - and then unleashed on this troublesome monster unworthy of the name of fishfolk the full fury of blows:

Assuming that Bubbles gets to act first in the round....per initiative order
Wrenching Last Rites out of the shark he glares at Undertow and spins toward the frozen Heavy Sahuagin "Not this time!" and drives towards M9 and slams the weapon into the creatures back, beating any of the other would be attackers, intent on claiming his first kill he drives the pike up through its back and out the front of its chest, the pulse of divine light evident.
Last RitesAttack: 15 Damage: 51 (GWM power attack, Divine Fury, Critical, Brutal Critical)
Assuming that this kills the heavily armoured Sahuagin he releases the haft and swims forward, grabbing the shaft protrubing and ripping the weapon through the wound, and continues toward the remaining light Sahuagin warrior, readying the weapon he strikes first with the GWM bonus attack then his second attack, both using GWM power attack, savaging it from behind (P7)
(@MuggsHill: Unless I am missing something, I think you got a bit overexcited there with the damage roll. Brutal Critical gives you a third d10 but not a third d6. I'll ignore the third d6 in that roll.)
Not to be outdone, Bubbles spots an easy target in the paralyzed sahuagin and impales it through the chest. There is so much force behind the blow that the creature's armor makes little difference. Once the weapon is ripped out, the body falls on the deck of the sunken ship, completely stiff. (Heavy Sahuagin#1 takes 48 magical piercing damage and is DEFEATED.)
Still having some hurt to deal, Bubbles approaches the last sahuagin in an attempt to kill it as well. The enemy avoids Last Rites once, surviving the onslaught. (Light Sahuagin#1 takes 28 magical piercing damage.)
(@Blue: Save the Ki Point from the most recently attempted Stunning Strike. There is no way the enemy will survive the incoming carnage. I'm still counting the Flurry of Blows, though, so make sure to tick that one.)
Feeling the victory within their grasp, Gulp, Shanty, Undertow, and Riptide all descend on the last remaining enemy almost simultaneously. In a somewhat comical display, one locathah's hit pushes the sahuagin away from another locathah's attack. This happens more than once as the sahuagin bounces from hit to hit.
Gulp manages to land two of the four attempted palm strikes; Undertow and Riptide each land one extra blow; Shanty finishes ripping the sahuagin apart with the aid of his spectral tentacle. In the end, there are four distinct sections of the victim's body floating in the water. It is hard to tell which locathah or tentacled creature actually delivered the killing blow. (Light Sahuagin#1 takes 63 magical bludgeoning, magical piercing, regular bludgeoning, cold, and force damage and is DEFEATED.)
WE ARE NOW OUT OF INITIATIVE. YOU MAY DO AS YOU WILL.
(OOC: Here's a reminder of what the wreck looks like: link.)
"I may be diving to conclusions hastily," Undertow glubs, sheathing shoreseeker, "but I highly doubt this Darkening to be caused by four sahuagin and a shark. I'll bet the sea devils are just as curious as we are about this growing Dark and sent their own representatives. We should stay vigilant - where there's four sahuagin, there's usually more. And who knows what scavengers may be lurking to take a bite of whatever the shark doesn't eat?"
Gulp looked at the carnage and shook his fins in disgust. "Sloppy. Very sloppy." He meant himself. "Just a curiosity, you think? Or were waiting for us? Or did we trigger some alarms and more is coming?" He swam down to the deck to pick up the globe then very carefully sipped just a few drops of rum - both a punishment and a reminder of failures - and added. "Let us get inside as planned. Through that hole we might reach the inside of the mountain."
Sandlot nodded slowly in agreement to Undertow. "Dangers, waters are.... More dangerous than we expected, I think.... But, press on, we will." He'd add, smiling softly to the others, and then squinting at a few. "Injured, some are... mend, this one can... with time... But-...."The sand toned Locathah looks at the many bodies scattered about, and shakes his head. "Time, not have.... Others come soon, this one think... Scavenge what can quickly, you all do. Then, descend into ship, as intended?" Sandlot looks to Barnacle specifically on that note.
But while old catfish spoke or pondered on the subject, and assuming Bubbles hadn't rushed off at the suggestion, Sandlot holds out the music box one last time to release another enchantment to bolster the vitality of Shanty, G'ulp and Barnacle. A safety measure on the off chance that they are next to be viciously savaged by giant beasties... or worse.
---> Cast (3rd level)Eldath's Endurance on Shanty, G'ulp, and Barnacle, raising maximum HP by 10 and healing HP by 10.

With a satisfied sigh, Bubbles surveys the carnage that has been created on the battlefied and nods to himself, mumbling "Whirlpool would approve" as he calms from the battlerage that he had embraced, taking the time to search the bodies of the heavy sahuagin looking for anything useful
Investigation: 4 (if required - with rolls back to normal low values - this character needs a Rage Investigation check to get advantage - I wonder what that might look like - somewhat violent I would imagine)
Then joins the others as Sandlot and the others are deciding the best course of action, reminding the others that the grate could be opened as well "What about the grate?" but will let the more strategic of the group decide
OOC: Happy to reroll the 'manipulated' dice roll - LOL
Undertow forms a theory on why the sahuagin and their pet might be interested in the Darkening, but doesn't plan to stand around and wait for more of them to show up. Gulp wonders if they were instead some sort of trap, or perhaps guards at the gate. In between sipping some alcohol and retrieving his Driftglobe, the monk suggests that the party moves onward and through the gapping hole on the fore of the ship. Despite Bubbles calling the group's attention toward the closed metal grate again, most of the party members seem to agree the hole on the side of the ship would be the easiest way to advance.
Sandlot reminds the group that they do not have much time to spare. When the cleric mentions something about scavenging whatever they can quickly, Bubbles leads a brief search of the sahuagins' possessions. He finds little of use apart from the shark-kin's shields (x2), strange polearm (x1), and jagged blade (x1). Their armor pieces are far too customized to their lanky bodies to be of any use to the locathah.
While he waits for the search, Sandlot bestows a similar blessing to the one recently granted to some of his other companions. (Shanty, Gulp, and Barnacle each add 10 HP to their current and max HP.)
Some locathah seem happy with the carnage wrought, other less so. Regardless, they move toward the hole on the ship. Barnacle leads the way as suggested by Sandlot. As they proceed belowdecks, it becomes much easier to swim as the hull protects them from the the strong currents outside. This front portion of the hull, is not very spacious, and is separated from the rest of the storage compartments of the ship by a wooden wall and a closed door to the south. Many boxes and barrels are present in this front-most storage compartment. Although they look somewhat waterlogged, these crates and barrels seem largely intact. This is in line with Bubbles' earlier assessment that this is a fairly recent wreck.

The look of the craters made Gulp's yellow eyes sparkle in delight. The miserable impact on the battle was almost forgotten and with particular soft gurgling in his voice he loudly asked if the team thinks they have just a tinsy bit of time to investigate the goods? There might be some clues in there, right? Or something useful for investigation? Should others agree, the monk would eagerly begin to break/open the craters - just to see, really.
Gulp did not insist, though. Should others insist on pressing forward, he would sim to the door and try to open it.
Bubbles, having found nothing of interest on the Sahuagin, gives the area a cursory look and then pronounces "Not much for me to do....I'll keep an eye out for any more critters" and Bubbles will take up position near defending back toward the entrance, but he does not stray out of the light being shed by the various devices.

Barnacle absently pushes a little water over the prongs of his trident in an attempt to dislodge a few of the more stubborn pieces of their foes from it. Casting his eyes over the boxes and barrels within the ship's hold, he looks closely for any of the curious markings that landsiders use as language.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sandlot looks between Gulp and the barrels following the loudly spoken question, and slowly shook his head to the sides. "Doubt, this one does, of finding any clues within... but, strange times, these be, so... by all means."He makes a sweeping towards the crates and barrels. And while Gulp and any other look into them, his attention turns to the sole door within the hull leading elsewhere. It is then that, while while whispering a prayer to Eldath, he swam over with her guidance felt in spirit to have a peek inside what laid beyond the door.
Once they are all inside the caravel, Gulp suggests spending a few seconds investigating the cargo. Sandlot expresses his agreement verbally, albeit slowly, while others seem to do so more silently. While the monk investigates, Bubbles volunteers to keep watch. Before Gulp can open some of the crates, Barnacle asks for a moment to identify their markings. He sees the image of a generic ship braving a tall wave. This is not a symbol he is familiar with, but he could venture a guess of it representing a merchant's fleet.
Gulp begins prying crates open with the help of his dagger and tapping barrels with some of his brewer's tools. He finds what would have been fresh foodstuffs, including fruits, vegetables, breads, and hardtack. However, these have all been destroyed by sea water. On the less perishable end of the spectrum, Gulp also finds heavily salted meats that have been cured and could be salvageable and portioned into rations. As for the barrels, they are filled with ale. The barrels are coated in a thick layer of tar to keep water out, so the ale is as fresh as one can find it in taverns in the dry world.
While he waits, Shanty invokes his eldritch roots and his eyes glow in a deep blue. This time, he fails to detect the source of necromancy he felt earlier. It is possible the source has moved, or is now outside of his range. Alternatively, it could have just ceased to emanate magic. there are a number of viable guesses as to why the bardlock can't detect it at the moment, really.
Sandlot does not remain idle either. After asking for divine guidance, the cleric slowly opens the only door in the room and peeks through with a quick assist from Gulp's Driftglobe. He sees the middle portion of the hull, just below the metal grate. There are more boxes and crates in this area, which look larger than the ones stored in the room the party is currently in. The far wall of this middle storage room is partially destroyed, allowing Sandlot to see the contours of a third and even bigger storage area. Details within this third room are obscured in darkness for the moment.
