For each of you the experience is different. Each of you pulled from different worlds, different times, different realities…but it all ends the same; a blinding flash, then… crunch! Your feet land on vibrant green grass. You blink away the black spots that fill your vision and see each other standing there; naked as the day you were born. Any items you were carrying are gone.
You all stand in the middle of a strange oak forest. The colours are rich and vibrant, the sky where it peeks through the canopy above is a brilliant blue and no roll is required for you all to perceive that everything… everything except for the four of you.. Looks kind of square?
PWOK! Looking down you see a chicken standing before you all. It cocks its head to one side and repeats the greeting.
A smallish, gaunt dwarf looks down to the bizarre chicken. He looks at the other three. He looks back at the chicken. He looks back up to the three. There is no hint of embarrassment or modesty from him.
He stands roughly 4’ 6” tall and is abnormally thin for a dwarf. His gray-brown skin is mostly covered by brownish-red hair of varying lengths that seems to cover 90 percent of his body. He is also soaking wet.
”Uhm, this is different.” He says matter of factly.
One of the figures is a curvy woman with what appears to be a deep flush covering her from head to toe. She has flaming red hair, and a pair of horns that curve up over her head and down behind her ears. The horns stay close to her scalp, with her red hair framed between them. Her actions are at odds with the coloring of her skin, as she does not move to cover up as she sees the others around her.
"What sort of place is this?" She speaks out loud, glancing at the squarish appearance of their surroundings. The chicken draws her attention, but she ignores it for the moment as she tries to make sense of her immediate area.
A green skinned gnome with pointy ears and bright green wild hair that about blends in with the surroundings is completely sprawled out on the ground near the others. "What? What has... Ack!!" she realizes at that moment that she is naked. She looks around at her new surroundings with huge eyes as she takes everything in. She scrambles as she tries to stand and at the same time cover herself up, and bumps into the chicken. "Ack!!" she says again as she does, then goes behind the chicken to try and use it as makeshift clothing.
She then looks at the others and says, "Hi? Um, where are we?"
"Oooh, talkers in this dream,"the half-orc comes from around a large tree, his skin of a soft green-grey that may remind someone of clay. His unkept dark hair is wiry and kept swept back, his matching scraggly beard does little to his protruding tusks. He carries the physique of a manual worker and looks physically capable. His confusion, and frustration trying to remember something, deflects any sense of modesty.
"We weren;t drinking that much, were we? Someone add something to my drink? Hey, that's a good question. Your part of this dream, you should know where we are..."Guroz calls over to the small greenish... gnome?
The dwarf quickly surveys the area looking for the portal that he must have passed through. Finding nothing besides the cubicle scenery, he shifts his attention to the fellow inhabitants that seem as out of place as himself.
”I don’t know where we are or if there is a path out.”
He glances around again, uncertain if they were to be assailed immediately by enemies. At least these three didn’t appear to be threatening, yet.
”You all can call me Chonk. I think we are going to be relying on each other for a while.”
He does not approach the others or offer his hand in greeting as he does not want the gesture to be interpreted as hostile.
“Perhaps the gods are testing us. Or maybe it was this square chicken that summoned us. Do any of you speak Chicken?”
He looks back to the chicken, shrugs his shoulders and mimics the bird’s greeting, “PWOK”.
"Well, as this doesn't seem to be a dream..." Lefaris says, frowning at the other naked people near her. "I am called Lefaris." She would meet each of the other's eyes with her own. "I know not where this place is, but I do not think we'll learn anything from this chicken." She glances down at it. "Do any of you have a way to kill the beast?" She glances to the group again. "We may have need of it for sustenance if we do not find further supplies."
The gnome looks up as the half-orc addresses her, "No, I do not know where we are, I sort of just fell into this place. Literally."
She then looks down at the chicken that is covering her, um, more private areas and looks back up to the others who obviously have all arrived here when she did and in the same condition. Though they apparently have no problem being naked, well, she isn't as ok with it. "Kill it? Well, I do, but I'm kinda using the chicken right now." she says uncomfortably. And to change the subject, she says, "My name is Sindri. Sindri Berens and I agree, it does not appear to be a dream. Though never in my days have I seen a world so, so square."
Chonk mentally stores the names of the refugees and notices the discomfort of the gnome. He also realizes that although he is composed now, he is uncertain how long he can be exposed to these fetching females before his nether region betrays him and that would be embarrassing.
”Ahem, well, let’s see if we can fashion some type of garments. The night may be chilly.”
He begins searching for broad leaf plants and either vines or vegetation that could provide fibers to be used as strapping/belts/twine.
Chonk your attempt to speak chicken earns you a confused look from the blocky little bird but it does reply after a few moments.
PWOK!
Sindri as you speak the chicken turns in surprise and flaps back a little, seemingly unhappy to be used as makeshift underwear.
Chonk roll investigation while you search for some suitable vegetation. While you do this the chicken gives a loud PWOK and skitters off into the nearby trees before turning to call out again.
Guess no one can kill it before it runs off..." Lefaris says with a frown as the chicken moves away. "Maybe there is a farm nearby. Chickens are from farms, right?" She glances to the others with a question in her eyes. Seeing how the men are having troubles, she sighs. "Here, I'll help..."
She casts disguise self Immediately she is covered with stoute-looking studded leather, over a tunic that is belted at the waist and goes down to past her knees. A rapier is at one hip and a hand crossbow at the other. her hair is tied back in a tidy braid, while her horns are no longer visible. "Better?" She asks the others. "Now, should we follow the chicken or do you guys have a better idea for what to do next?"
The half-orc follows Chonk, agreeing with the idea of something practical, "you can call me, Guroz. Would say 'Nice to meet you', but there's nothing nice about this..."
He looks around with the dwarf; it will get colder at night and no one wants to be caught unprotected then... (Hopefully allowing the Help to take place! :D)
"Hey come back here!" Sindri awkwardly tries to cover herself and go after the chicken, almost tripping as she does so. When she gets to the trees, she uses her ability to speak with small beasts and asks the bird to show us where a farm or other villagers might be. She then turns to Lefaris, "I told you, I can, but then we wouldn't be able to follow him."
As she is talking to Lefaris, she magically appears in clothes. Sindri's mouth drops open and she exclaims, "can you do me next?"
"Sorry, it is only a spell I can use on myself, and the effects won't last overly long." Lefaris explains. "Seems like the boys want to find something in the trees here, so maybe we should stay with them until they finish, then we can try to figure out where the chicken went." She looks to see what the boys are up to, likely oogling them a bit as they work.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

(rolled with advantage assuming Guroz’s Help, ignore the first roll if appropriate)
”Nice to meet you, Guroz.”
When Chonk sees the other two follow the chicken, he gives up the search for make-shift apparel. He is not a natural leader of others but he definitively knows there’s strength in numbers.
”Perhaps we should stick together.” He says to Guroz as he turns on his heels and follows after the chicken, as well.
Chonk you manage to grab a hand full of sticks and leaves that in time you might fashion some kind of covering with. It looks like it would be very uncomfortable.
Abandoning the search you join the others following the chicken.
Lefaris the chicken is easy enough to find and follow. It darts away before turning back to you all and calling out again. If it were not clearly just a chicken you might think the little bird wanted you to follow it.
"Seems like it wants to lead us somewhere..." Lefaris says with a frown. "Maybe chickens are this world's sentient lifeforms..." Regardless she continues to follow after it, keeping her eyes out for anything dangerous.
Sindri you get the definite sense from the meaningful looks the chicken keeps giving you that it understood the general meaning of your request and is in fact leading you somewhere.
Guroz you follow warily keeping your eyes trained on the surrounding forest for any potential risk. Glancing forward you see a small flicker of light between the trees. It would appear that the chicken is leading you toward a campfire. Chonk you also spot this as you move closer.
The chicken is becoming quite excited now. So much so that it runs back and pecks you on the foot Sindri, before scampering off again with a cheerful PWOK!

The further we’re being led by this chicken, the more suspicious Chonk is becoming. With each step, he heightens his senses more.
Feels like a lure, he thinks to himself.
He will warn, “Be very careful” should the chicken lead through foliage that cannot be seen through or around a blind corner.
