Guroz you have the highest passive perception so we will say that you noted the direction of travel. Notch gestured that you continue in the direction you were walking when you found his camp.
Chonk you peer upward through the trees and almost immediately spot the sun climbing high from the east. You are pretty sure this makes it near midday, or at least it would in your world. Though you do realise that you have no idea how long the days are in this strange new place.
As you all start to make your way eastward through the forest roll for perception.
The illusion on Lefaris has faded by now, so she wears the clothes given to them, her hornes showing once more, and her red hair more of a tangled mess. She would settle back towards the rear of the group as they start walking in the direction the village was indicated.
"Lefaris! We are not eating Little Pwok!" as the chicken goes behind Sindri to hide, she pats it on his head. "I'm sure we're find sustenance at the village, which speaking of, we better get moving. I do not have long legs for travel!"
Chonk’s smaller legs carry him about the same speed as Sindri. He will volunteer to take the rear of the formation and watch for unwanted followers.

As the team walks, Chonk thinks to himself, why become attached to food? At least this food walks and doesn’t need to be carried. He says none of this out loud, but in the natural order of things, he believes he is right.
Of course here, who knows what’s natural. He concedes to himself.
You have all been walking for a few hours. The ground has been relatively even with the trees slowly thinning out to allow more sunlight to stream through the canopy above. Here and there small white flowers dot the ground and PWOK happily pecks at them as you walk by.
Guroz and Sindri, you both notice movement off to your right, and then again off to the left. Something, or some things are keeping pace with you as you walk. Guroz you catch a gimps behind and see more movement as a flash of white fur slips behind a large oak. You can't be sure in this place but it looked like a wolf.
Gurozgestures to everyone to halt, "Alright, everybody try to stay calm... we're being followed. By wolves. Attacking from all around. Everybody, prepare yourselves. See if we're the heroes our gods think we are..." The half-orc raises the two wooden sword, hoping their sturdiness keeps.
"oh shoot, oh shoot, oh shoot" Sindri watches the wolves surrounding them and frets. She gets a quick idea and whispers to her group, "Don't worry, this loud sound is just me." She then casts minor illusion and creates a great and terrible lion roar.
Sindri, you reach out with your celestial powers and project a terrifying roar into the afternoon air. You hear yaps and whimpers from the surrounding forest as the wolves back away in fear. You have scared the pack off... for now. (Take inspiration for that shrewd move).
You all stand there in the forest listening to the pack retreat. You can still hear them in the near distance but it seems for now they are reluctant to come closer thanks to the quick thinking of your diminutive companion. The chicken gives and approving PWOK! as it peeks out from behind Sindri's legs.
Sindri blushes and looks up at Guroz, "Thanks, I'm just not ready to fight some wolves yet. Still trying to get used to the fact I'm in this square land. But you're right, they could change their mind and come back any minute. Let's get to that village!"and she picks up her pace.
"Well done." Lefaris says with a smile for Sindri. She nods in the direction they were headed. "I suggest we keep moving, maybe we can reach this village before those wolves get up the nerve to try for us again."
You all press on eastward. The wolves still follow from a distance and from time to time you see flashes of white fur and hear the snarls and yips of the pack, but they come no closer. Soon the forest gives way to a lush hill country dotted with this worlds answer to poppies and buttercups. You spy a track leading in the direction you are travelling and as you join it you start to spot signs of civilisation; strips of oak fence, low stone walls and ploughed fields of golden wheat and other crops. In the far distance you see a horse grazing. The wolves do not leave the cover of the forest and it would appear the danger has passed.
That is until you spy an object in the path before you. As you close in on it you see that it is a dead animal. It's blood still pooling on the ground about it. A fresh kill.
Does the blood seem to be coming from open wounds? Slashes, piercings or open sores? Chonk would be willing to move closer if the animal was evidently killed by an assailant. If it appears diseased, he would warn all that we should avoid it.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"We are too far away here to even tell how it died." Lefaris says with a frown towards the dead creature. She would move slowly towards it, but would be watching the area to either side of the path, looking for what might have done this as she approaches. She will move to 15 feet of the corpse.

Great. Thinks Chonk sarcastically. Where was my head? How did I miss them encircling us?
”If they’re brave enough to attack, try to identify which is the alpha leader and focus fire on it. Maybe we can become the new alphas.”
Chonk begins bouncing on the balls of his feet. If we’re to do this, let’s get started. He silently resolves in his mind.

Guroz lets his breathing steady. Sure enough, he was expecting to clash with wild strength and crushing jaws, but it didn't come.
He turns to Sindri, a half-smile upon his face, "well, if I had something like that a few times in the wild... Impressive."
"Everyone, don't let up." He keeps his eyes about, ready to catch the wolves if they brave coming closer once more...
(Thanks!)
Sindri blushes and looks up at Guroz, "Thanks, I'm just not ready to fight some wolves yet. Still trying to get used to the fact I'm in this square land. But you're right, they could change their mind and come back any minute. Let's get to that village!" and she picks up her pace.
