Again, not wanting to waste motion before or after his attacks, he will want to flank or maneuver in a way to aid his allies, including imposing himself as a target, relying on his wiryness to not get hit.
Chonk you punch with fierce power and precision. A powerful blow to the stomach causes the creature to double over and then a crushing uppercut obliterates the the zombies head spraying brains all over Guroz. That is two zombies down and one to go as it hits the ground with a heavy thud.
The last zombie is shambling around the illusory hole toward you all. The villagers have stopped their panicking are now gathering round to watch the fight from a safe distance.
Lefaris casts minor illusion once more. The first pit disappears, while a second one appears blocking the zombie from moving forward again. She attempts to keep the zombie from moving towards the villagers, and, maybe, allowing her companions an easier time of getting into positions to aid each other against it.
Seeing that they have these zombies all but taken care of, Sindri relaxes a touch - enough to chuckle a bit as the villagers crowd around and discuss the hole that Lefaris is moving around. She raises her hand again and blasts another bolt of force at the remaining zombie, Attack: 14 Damage: 10
Guroz'sfocus lightens only at the blast of magic, giving Lefaris a glance and small gesture of impressed approval before going with firm strike with his main arm and whip-like flick with the off-hand strike at the zombie... if it still stands!
Sindri you release you eldritch blast and the crackling energy slams into the zombie tearing off its left arm. The limb skitters across the ground twitching and grasping at the air. You hear several of the villagers release and "Oooooo!" as if they were watching a fire work display. One of the children giggles and mimics your casting action.
Guroz you charge in toward the remaining zombie and the crowd gasps as you run into the middle of the illusory hole.
"Watch out!"
"Noooo!"
Their cries are lost as you deliver your vicious attacks tearing into the creature. It moans and flails about as you strike it, but remains standing... barley. Turning it lashes out at you Guroz with its remaining arm; Attack: 15 Damage: 3
Chonk flicks the zombie in the temple with his middle finger. The force of the flick is strong enough to collapse the temple and send a putrid eyeball in a sickly trajectory towards a hapless villager spectator who yelps and jumps away from the unwelcome parcel.
The undead begins to slump and spirals slightly, turning its torso towards the determined monk. A thrusting leg kick plunges through the abdomen spewing guts out through a hole in the backside of the undead. A hole which now has a dwarf's foot protruding out of it.
Chonk forcefully stomps his foot to the ground and broadly stands with one foot still in the carcass of the zombie that is finally released from its curse.
Silence descends upon the village square as the last of the zombies falls. You look at the villages, they look back at you all, and then applause! Cheers and cries fill the air the villager celebrate your victory. It goes on for several minutes as you all stand there amidst the zombie gore. You note one villager is not cheering, they are holding a nasty bite wound on their arm and looking slightly nauseous. Other villagers rush over to help them while out of the crowd one of them approaches you.
They bow deeply and give you a broad smile, green eyes twinkling with gratitude. "Greetings." they give another bow, "Welcome to Needlehole. We should get inside before the sun fully sets. Please follow me."
The villager beacons you all to follow as they walk toward a large tavern on the northern edge of the square.
"Sounds good to me." Lefaris says, moving to follow the villager. She wrinkles her nose at the smell of the corpses, and sides steps a still-twitching hand attached to an arm and nothing else.
Sindri takes in the carnage that just happened and shudders as the reality is setting in. Funny how during the heat of the battle, instinct can just take over and you know what to do...she wonders if that is what Notch meant by heros? Is that what heros do? They just know and their body takes over? She sure doesn't feel like one now, with that last zombie encircling Chonk's foot, she might get sick at the sight!
The villager that greets them is a nice distraction and she gives him her full attention, "Excuse me, what exactly does happen when the sun fully sets?" she asks as they walk along. If the chicken allows, she picks it up and carries it, more for comfort than anything as they walk towards the tavern.
Chonk pants forcefully a few times as his adrenaline subsides. He looks around at the carnage and the dying light of day. Only then does he notice the diminishing cheers from the villagers. He shakes the zombie off his foot and follows the crowd to the north.
The chicken is very happy to be picked up Sindri and sounds a happy little powk! as it nestles into your shoulder. The villager answers your questions as you walk.
"Sun keeps the undead away. They burn in the sun. These were hiding close by so they got here quickly."
You follow the villager into the tavern. Cheerful little lamps give light to the large common room and a fire burns merrily in the hearth. Another villager stands behind the bar area and you notice for the first time that there seems to be little sign of whether these people are male of female. They are all bald and green eyed; and they all have oddly bulbous noses.
"Customers!" the villager behind the bar cries out as you enter.
"They are not just customers, they are champions!" replies you guide, "Food and drink is on the house."
"Oh!" the barkeep looks and sounds crestfallen.
"Take a seat." the guide indicates a table near the fire, "You can stay here tonight."
The barkeep brightens.
"For free, because you are champions." the guide clarifies causing the barkeep to slump once. They make their way over,
Sindri happily takes a seat at the table and sets the chicken next to her on the bench. She listens as the guard keeps calling them champions, feels odd. I mean yes, they did vanquish the zombies, but the word champion sure does come with a lot of weight. But, on the flip side, good thing food, drink and rest are on the house... she's pretty sure her companions are in the same boat, she doesn't have a coin on her.
She waits to hear what the options are before making a request.
Guroz embraces the rush of success and continues his wooden sword assaults on the nearest undead!

The illusion appears before the zombie once more and you hear gasps from the surrounding villagers.
"Oooo a hole."

"Over there..."
"Ooooh."
Many of them are transfixed by the battle now and there is quite a crowd gathering on the outer edges of the square.
