Loading another vial of mysterious liquid in to his guantlet dispersion system, Brix holds out his right fist and works the lever with his left. He aims blindly at a point he judges to be about 5 feet in front of him and fills a twenty foot cube with glowing particles. Then as he ducks down he slathers a bit of obnoxious smelling salve on his chest.

@MrJanuary812: Love the move by Brix but can he do that?
I think when you cast a bonus action spell (Sanctuary) then the only other type of spell you can cast that turn is a cantrip with a casting time of one action. But Faerie Fire is not a cantrip.
@Smendrick - I don’t think we skipped you, did we? As soon as the shadows appeared, we went into Initiative and Brix is first. Thredash is last I think.
(Brix) Unless you can make DEX Check DC15 with disadvantage, I'm going to rule that you missed inserting the vial, andFaerie Fire never happened. Also, Tybard is correct. You can only cast cantrips in the same round you cast a spell. (Btw, You"re not the first player to make that mistake.)
OCC: Yeah not really done a lot of spell casters so that detail eluded me. I'd rather do the faerie fire and drop the sanctuary. Also I forgot that Squirrely Dan is in the initiative right after Brix but is taking the dodge action.
OCC: If a Druid wanted to cast faerie fire at this moment would he have to make a save? Now I understand why. It's because of how I flavored the casting. I would request a reconsideration since this is Brixs primary way of spell dispersal. I guess technically it should be more of a verbal delivery any way.
Soren is still concentrating on Summon Beast. His owl familiar Nettle is blinded, so I am going to guess she can't fly by and take the help.
(OOC: Going to wait until I find out if Brix'sFaerie fire succeeded before posting Soren's turn so I know whether to roll Soren and his beast of the land Spike's attacks at advantage.)
(OOC - everyone, Soren gave you all 8 Temp HP earlier with his bear spirit totem. Olin already lost his by getting hit and Thredash has his temp HP on his character sheet. But I think Brix, Garmuk, Thom and Ursa can all add 8 Temp HP)
(Brix) Yes, the way you worded your action is why I had you make the save since you were performing an action (Inserting a vial.) which to me relied on hand and eye coordination. However, Faerie Fire only has a verbal component, so the spell is successfully cast
(Everyone) Please be careful how you word your actions, especially when casting a spell.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As the shadows light up with glowing particles (Faerie Fire), Soren unfurls his thorny whip again, lashing it at Shadow A from a distance, but NOT pulling them any closer. In fact Soren steps back a bit, allowing his beast Spike come to the fore and maul Shadow A.
