As she readies to head out, Kerri catches a quick glimpse of Mae and her rapid costume change. A slight grin comes to her face as she heads out the door.
Following Nix and the others, she comes to a halt before the steps as the Sun Warden turns to address them. She tries very hard to focus on the names being given and the brief detail provided. Once she turns, Kerri is ready to charge up after her. As a result, she is a little taken aback when she glances back to ensure they all have no questions. She stops abruptly - a bit awkwardly - and shakes her head 'no' as Nix's gaze falls upon her.
Before they leave Doc asked Nix if they, after the meeting with the Elders, could check out the blood and icor that was found after the Warden's abduction. As well as making a mental note to later ask were her family lives. Might be a good place to be during the night to hopefully protect them.
Outside Doc makes sure his armor and clothes are representable as he listens intently to all the names; his history in the court made sure he had a good mind for names; especially of those in power. "No questions Nix, thank you for the quick summary."he says as he thinks Will be interesting to see how the Elders interact with each other, especially as it seems the people missing are all from powerful families.
(During the visit Doc will use his knowledge of the courts (Background feature) to hopefully get some insights in the current intrigues and interests of the elders.)

Lancelin raises his eyebrows slightly as Mae changes clothes and glances over at Kerri with a quick smile. He then follows Nix across the square through the cold drizzle to the steps of the Sun Lodge, hood up, stopping and listening attentively to what she has to say. He nods as Mae puts her question to Nix, agreeing with it's relevance, but having no questions of his own at this time.
(Having the same background feature as Doc, Lancelin will use it too if applicable. :-)
Mina listens to Nyx's response and it troubles her a bit. She wonders if any of it is relevant or not? Either way, she is happy to be out in the rain, and looks forward to this next encounter. Hoping that some information will be gleaned from it.
"Ah politics," Nix turns a bit pink smiling at Mae. "I'm a ranger and well care little for politics I kept to the forests relly outside of town culling the beasts that would threaten us in the fields or in the lake. I would say there's no noteworthy strife that I, in my lowly position of Sun Warden, am aware of," she adds sadly, Nix seems to hate to be unhelpful! "I myself find the town to run well enough with little to no crime other than a traveling merchant cheating a local buyer with faulty wares or a misplaced bottle of beer from the tavern now and then which get dealt with swiftly as well as fairly. Truly the first big event in my memory is the disappearances," she explains with a serious look. "Others might be able to share more political intrigues with you but from my point of view they all work together to run the town well in spite of the recent...problems," she finishes before nodding at everyone else not asking a question with a smile then turning back to the Sun Lodge.
Stopping outside the two large, towering carved wooden doors enforced by iron bands barring their way Nix seems to relax. Along with the doors, two guards stand on either side wearing red cloaks with scale mail armor beneath and holding spears. Both guards nod at Nix as she nods back before opening their door ahead of the party into the Sun Lodge. Inside the Lodge, the party finds a long hall, much like the Sun Warden's hall, but twice the size and filled to the brim with people. On the walls and from the ceiling all manner of banners, shields, and symbols of Pelor mark the inside. As Nix leads the party into the room striding down the aisle with renewed confidence a hush falls over the crowds gathered in the Sun Lodge. As Nix marches down the aisle with pew upon pew on either side full of denizens of Drynna the young ranger leads the party to a semicircle area. There she stops just short of seven chairs of equal stature with all manner of humanoids seated in them. At the head is a strikingly beautiful half-elven woman with fair skin and long red braids flecked with gray around her temples wearing soft blue robes. This woman wears a sort of crown as well, more like a circlet with a large center gemstone, while every other member of the council seems to have a similar circlet adorning their brow all the others do not have such a gemstone, the party can safely assume this is Yoxall. To Yoxall's right hand is a female half-orc with gleaming gold-capped tusks and emerald green skin. Her hair is pulled into a high bun on her head and is jet black. The half-orc is dressed in lush purple robes with rings glinting in the torchlight of the room, party can assume this is Boniface. To the left of the center of the seat, a dwarven woman sits with short blond hair and a well-kept set of scale mail armor in shades of silver. Her expression is critical of the party eyeing each person in turn before a smile falls on Nix, this must be Abrielle. On the right of the dwarf sits a human woman with dark skin in the same sort of silver armor as the dwarf sits with a skeptical expression as well but she gives no smile to Nix, this must be Vazaar. The other three members of the seven are male. The youngest man is human with dark skin like the woman in armor with thick short dreadlocks adorn with silver and gold bands. He wears gray robes and has a pair of glasses perched on his nose. He writes in what looks like a ledger across his lap, furiously scribbling as he looks over the party as well as Nix but smirks, this is Wycomb. The second man is middle-aged or older. He's a halfling with ruddy skin and a stout frame with a head of thick dark curls. He seems somber amongst the crowd looking out at the party with a sad expression, one can assume this is Anders. Finally, the last member to the far right of the council of seven is an older elven man. He sits stock still and seems the oldest on the council of seven as well as in the room itself. He's wearing green robes that look expertly made and elaborately decorated with fine gold stitching and long sweeping sleeves. His hands are in his lap and his expression is serene as he observes the room, as the only full elf the party can see they can assume this is Tamsin.
"Greetings and welcome to Drynna," high councilor Yoxall begins standing from her seat as the other six councilors stand with her in greeting. "Nigellus Nyhus,” the woman continues, “please stand aside and let us meet these champions you have found to aid us in our cause speak,” she adds next smiling brightly at each of the party members in turn.
“Yes, of course, high councilor Yoxall,” Nix nods to the red-haired woman and steps aside motioning to the party to step up in whatever manner they choose.
While there was a certain gloom that hung over the party in light of the current situation, Mae was not at all nervous as she strode through the hall full of people. In fact, she rather adored the crowds and being put in the middle only meant she was able to shine without reservation. She met the gaze of every council member she could, and put on one of her best smiles and stepped forward at the invitation, once Nix had stepped aside.
"Greetings, Council members, I am Maevla, here to be of service in anyway you deem fit!" She had a naturally golden voice like her hair, and her body radiated her natural glow as she spoke, before giving a courteous bow and then stepping back in line. She quickly scanned the Elders for any reaction they had to her, good or ill. She also knew how to play the supporting role well, and beamed at the others in her party when they stepped forward to introduce themselves as well.
Belkris unused to such settings fidgets for a bit.. Am I suppose to bow or salute ah I will just treat them like my captain that'll do. He has a darting glance as he looks at all the people assembled. "I hear there is trouble here. Perhaps we can help"
Mina walks into the hall and gives a low whistle. Even though she is from Drynna, she has never stepped foot in this hall before and it was everything she had dreamed it would be and more. Though, in her dreams, she wasn't being paraded down the aisle like cattle being led to the butcher. As she lays eyes on the council, their elaborate garbs are the first thing she notices, though in general they seem friendly. She looks down at her wet again leathers and shrugs, stepping forward when it is her turn.
"Greetings, sirs and madams, my name is Mina Holimion, and I grew up in Drynna, so my family name might be familiar to you. Though, we are just lowly fishermen"she gives a quick cough, trying to regroup, this was harder than she thought, "I have spent many years hunting creatures that threatened Drynna before they reached the city walls, and I know I can be an asset to assist with the current situation. I look forward to getting started." she then steps back in line with the others, glad that was over.
Kerri watches Nix as she explains briefly about the politics. She is really just being polite though and only pays cursory attention. Once the woman turns for the door however she is right behind, ready to go in. A smile comes to her face as she sees the large crowd. As she glances from face to face, she wonders who each might be - craftsperson. merchant, soldier?
Quickly though her attention snaps to those sitting in the seven chairs. She recalls the high councellor, who must be the beautiful half-elf - Yoxall. The half-orc and the two in armor she recalls being mentioned, but can't quite remember the names. She does admire the two women's fine armor however. The bespecaled young man in grey robes she somehow recalls as Wycomb. Her gaze does linger on him a bit, curious as to what he would be writing about. The halfling too she cannot recollect a name, but the last - Tamsin the elf - does stick in her mind. How amazing that he was here at the town's founding! Or she thinks that what Nix said.
As the council rises, Kerri's attention moves back to Yoxall. Waiting an opportunity between the other speakers, she then steps forward, making an awkward bow and inclining her head towards the half-elf. The smile still on her face, she starts to move her hands, making a series of signs. At the end, she inclines her head again, steps back, and glances to Lancelin.
Doc follows Nix into the hallway, and looks around at the crowds. Walking up towards the table he looks at each of the council members if there are any concerned/jaleous/weird looks between them or towards us.
"Good greetings to you all, my name is Doc. I will be sure to provide the party and those that went missing the care they need to return home safely."

Lancelin follows Nix and the others up the steps and inside the Sun lodge, nodding at the guards at the door. He walks proudly down the aisle, discreetly scanning the crowd. He gives the elders a look of respect as he scans them too, making mental notes of who is who, allowing himself a quick smile as he admires the beauty of Yoxall. Although it had been some time since he last walked the halls of power this was nothing he was unused to or uncomfortable with. He watches in silence as the others of the assembled team presents themselves to the council with the exception of giving voice to the signs Kerri is making to Yoxall. "I too look forward to getting started. I am Kerri Dunstrom and I'm not from these lands. However, I hope this group - a fresh set of eyes and ideas - will be able to help you resolve this issue."
As the last of his team Lancelin steps forward and bows to the council. "Greetings council members, my name is Lancelin Silverward. I am a travelling companion of Kerri Dunstrom from distant lands. I am honored by your invitation to serve Drynna although I wish I would have come here under better circumstances. I can only agree with what my associates already have expressed. We will of course do our utmost to quickly resolve this matter."
Doc and Lancelin can make perception checks to notice subtle changes in the denizens of the Lodge or the council but not both. Blanket checks are a cop out. You wouldn't be able to look and everyone at one time to discern great details, right? Insights can be rolled as well after you decide whom you're playing particular attention to.
As for the room Doc and Belkris are gaining most of the obvious attention. They do not see anyone else of their lineage amongst the denizens of Dryanna. Mina spots a few aquatic elves in the back corner if the room but she gains a few glances too. All in all the hush over the crowd as the party entered is holding to a point. Some denizens are leaning to each other whispering and casting glances from the party to the council and back without hiding their curiosity, disdain, or surprise. It's all a jumbled mess of reactions and emotions from every corner of the large space.
"Yes, well certainly grateful for your time and effort this far. There's been no other returned party and I've had no communication that they will be returning soon," Yoxall explains with a soft expression as she settles into her chair along with the rest of the council save Wycombe.
Wycombe paces in front of the party as if quick working to take a rough sketch of everyone's likeness. He then beams at Doc who he seems to have taken a particular interest and shows Doc the rough but uncanny sketch of Doc's head and shoulders.
"Distance lands," Vazaae speaks up next in a hiss. "I hope they're not bringing trouble to us from distant lands," she adds frowning.
"Oh, pure nonsense Eliana! They've come to help and with Nix too," Abrielle exclaims happily smiling at the young ranger as well as the party. "Are you settled at the Warden Hall," she begins looking at the party again for a reply until the room erupts in chatter as the mood seems to relax slightly.
"Yes," Nox replies smiling at the dwarven woman, "first thing when we arrived, " she answers. "Any news we should be aware of before me and my new companions set out," she then asks shooting a stoney glance at Vazaar but before it can become too intense Wycombe steps into her line of sight wearing a large toothy smile.
"Extraordinary!" Wycombe exclaims holding his hand out for Doc to shake before smiling at Nix with that same smirk on his full lips. "These look like fine and capable folks to me," he adds with a curt nod, "one and all," he adds before looking back over his shoulder towards his other councilors who have remained seated. "How did you come to be here? Were you in the service of a wizard," he adds looking to Doc with a curiously cocked eyebrow.
"Will you linger here or get to work? I'm sure your travels have tired you. I would think rest was in order now, yes?" Yoxall asks more of a instruction than question as she looks over the party.

In a practiced manner Lancelin studies the council members in their exchange of words, subtly noting any allegiances and animosity. As Yoxall instructs them to return and to rest he simply nods, ready to turn and leave.
Lancelin turns to Kerri making a few hand signs of his own, a short discussion seems to take place, Lancelin glancing over at Nix at one time, but then they both seem ready to leave the Sun lodge.
