Doc is not unused to people seeing one of his kind for the first time. He politely compliments the drawing and shakes Wycombs hand as he tells him yhag6he was made to help a noble elven family in the North.
After leaving the lodge he will look at the party what they want regarding a rest, making sure they get the rest he needs, but himself fully ready to start investigating.

Mae watches the rest of the introductions with a smile, almost relieved that for once there wasn't pressure to perform for once, and acknowledged the suggestion to rest pleasantly. "Thank you Councilors, by your leave then." She gave them all a smile again and followed her party out. "Are we going back then right away to rest or shall we begin our search in some preliminary fashion?"
As the human woman with the dark skin remarks against them, Mina raises her eyebrow, "Now why would we bring trouble?" she asks softly, loud enough for the group and councilors to hear.
Mina gives a little bow to the councilors as they leave and once they are outside, she turns to Mae, "I agree with you, I'm not ready for rest."then faces the restof the group "I'd like to get a little start on things. Though, anyone have any ideas where to start? Shall we go to Rootgarden Marsh, or should that wait until morning? Actually, Nix, since you've been gone a week, should we see if there have been disappearances every night since you've been gone? See if there has been any changes to the situation?"
Kerri nods eagerly to Mae and Mina once they are outside. She makes a couple of hand gestures but seems to be pointing to go - and not in the direction of the Sun Lodge.
Doc walks out last with the rest to see how the councilors react on the last comments. Outside he will join the conversation, clearly getting more used to the live as a free man.
"Glad you aren't ready for a rest either. I would like to investigate the icor and blood that was found after the Warden's missing. Besides that, I think, Nix, that we maybe should stay with one of your relatives for the night? As you said, none of them are apparently missing and with all the other families missing people it might be good to stay there?"
(Amazing, how long do we have left till the night (approximately))

Lancelin joins the others outside into the cold drizzle again, pulling up his cowl, nodding to Kerri and turning to the others as they reach the bottom of the steps. "Yes, some preliminary investigations tonight before we rest and leave for the Rootgarden Marsh at first light." He says and nods, then turning to Nix. "Ms. Nyhus, we could try to pick up the latest news on the disappearances if you would point us to a suitable tavern or two where we can listen in on the local rumormill."He says with a friendly smile.
Lancelin notices although they seem on the surface to be serene almost detached from the situation there's obvious deeper concern than the councilors are openly showing. Vazaar seems the most tense their eyes darting around the room as if trying to observe other groups in the Lodge's conversations as well as keep an eye on the party. Anders looks on the verge of some sort of out pouring of emotion before he disappears at an exit behind a tapestry at the back of the Lodge behind the councilors chairs. Meanwhile Yoxall gives little away. She looks sharply focus on the group particularly when suggesting rest. With no one to contest her instructions out loud she settles into a conversation with Boniface. Tamsin and Wycombe seem to be just curious about the party which seems innocent enough. Mina's comment goes unnoticed or just ignored the party can't be sure.
Leaving the Sun Lodge the drizzle has subsides and the night is chilly as the sun hangs low in overcast skies. The party has roughly two hours left of 'daylight ' but it is gloomy.
"Good idea Doc. My parent's are on our homestead just outside of town with our youngerbrother," Nix replies. "My older half-sister is on the watch so that's it for immediate family I'm afraid but...well there's my aunt....uh high councilor Yoxall, " she replies sheepishly tugging at her scarf around her neck with a sigh. "Her married name is Yoxall but she's a Nyhus....hence the banner in the Lodge amongst the others, " she explains. "My... my father's older sister you see," she adds next uneasy with sharing such knowledge. "I...I know I should have mentioned it before...but it's well kind of tricky...we try not to rely upon the relation between us on council business," she explains kicking some loose gravel at the base of the steps leading to the Sun Lodge. "We can stay with my parents for sure but it would keep us quiet out of the fog's reach. It only creeps into town you see or at least that's the only place I know folks have disappeared from unless they've gone missing from other places as well since I've been away," she explains. "As for Rootgarden Marsh yes first light after the sun had burned off the fog," she agrees. Pausing to look around them she nods at Lancelin's suggestion about the tavern. "There's three but only one rents rooms," she adds. "There's the Black Flagon near the docks and first disappearance oddly enough, then the Red Lady just around the corner nearer to the wall and north watchtower, and lastly the tavern as well as inn is the Hag's Pot. It's the oldest in town and rumored to be the oldest structure here too. We'll before the town itself it stood at a crossroads to the lake," she adds pointing towards the docks again but further west than the Black Flagon. "I'm tired but I think my aunt is testing our metal, " she adds with a frown. "If we don't investigate it'll certainly be noted," she adds next.
Belkris looks around and nods in agreement "Yes lets do a bit of investigating. We can visit the marsh in the morning. I'd say we can head towards the Black Flagon to hopefully find any clues"
Doc asks nix where they can find the blood and icor.

Mae pulled out her cloak and wrapped herself back up, closing out her soft glow and hopefully staving off some of the cold. "Would it be possible to find a place near your parent's place that also allows a view of the town? I would be curious to see where the fog begins to form and how it spreads. But I would agree, let's visit the first place of happening, the Black Flagon." She thought a moment and then looked up again, "Does anyone have a spare piece of parchment and ink? I wonder if it would be beneficial as well to do a rough sketch of the town and and the locations of the disappearances."
"Yes, the Black Flagon sounds like a excellent place to initiate our inquiries." Lancelin says with a smile, prepared to go anywhere really to get out of this less than pleasant weather, but preferably somewhere they would serve a good wine. "And yes, I actually have parchment and ink, although I'm afraid I left it back at the Sun Warden hall."He turns and says to Mae with a quick smile. "I'll get it for you if you want Mae, but perhaps we can have a map of Drynna to help with our investigation Ms. Nyhus?" He turns and says the last part to Nix, then slowly starting to walk towards the Black Flagon, making sure Kerri comes along.
"Yes, Doc of course the blood and icor are both with the Wardens," Nix explains with an apologetic expression to Doc having not meaningto overlookhis question. "We can gain a map at the Warden's hall as well," she nods at Mae and Lancelin. "As for higher ground near my family's place well...trees but as I said the fog doesn't reach our farm. It's too far outside town outside the wall. It's literally on the opposite side of town completely away from the docks at Moreen Lake. The fog comes across the lake from Rootgarden Marsh. On the other side of the marsh is the Lucidian Ocean," she adds. "If we choose to stay with my family we won't see the fog," she explains. "As for the Flagon it's...the tougher tavern in town," she says smirking at the party. "I hope you're all ready to be as charming as possible, " she smiles.
"Well this should prove interesting then." Lancelin comments with a strained smile. During his travels with Kerri he had spent many evenings in taverns like the Black Flagon, but his hopes for that exquisite wine diminished significantly.
"Alright let me have a look at the icor and blood and than I'll join you'll at the tavern." Doc says to the group before turning to Nix "Glad to hear that your family will, most likely, be save"

Mina was about to speak up, thinking they should maybe split up, and try two different taverns seeing if they could get more information. But since they all seemed gung ho on the Black Flagon, she decided to just tag along. She didn't visit a lot of taverns, so she wasn't exactly sure what to expect for the tougher tavern in town. "So shall we? Daylights burnin as my pop would say." and she looks to Nix to show them the way.
Belkris gestures to go and walks towards the Black Flagon. "I have known such taverns before in my travels. Just be ready for action if it comes to it. Be careful Doc"
"We should stick together, " Nix replies. "Lancelin, " she calls out. "Wadern Hall first then the Flagon," she adds gesturing to him and Kerri to stick with the group.
Nix then leads the party back to the Warden's Hall. Reentering the Hall there's a complete change in the Hall. There are groups by the lit fireplaces and others seated at the tables enjoying tankard of ale and the roast the party had already enjoyed. Some are in the green that Nix wears while others are in red like the Sun Lodge guards. A couple Wardens from both groups call out in greeting to Nix and the party while others seem skeptical of the party within the Warden's Hall.
"Little Fox has returned," a tall lanky male half-orc calls out to Nix wearing a gray robe with the sun of Pelor emblazoned on his chest with a big smile on his tusky smile.
Nix's ears turns slightly pink as she smiles back and gives the half-orc a wave.
"Giles Boniface," Nix gestures to the half-orc then introduces the party to the young Warden. "This is our chapelin," she adds Giles moves to greet the party warmly with an offer handshakes to anyone who would accept it.
"They look capable Nix. Welcome, welcome, " Giles smiles at the party.
"Do you have the icor...that was left at Anders...," Nix trails off as Giles happy express faultier slightly only to quickly return to his tusky smile.
"Yes...yes of course, " Giles replies nodding.
Couple other Wardens speak to Nix and greet the party as they move to the chapel at the west side of the hall. Giles leads the way moving to a cabinet which he opens and stands for a moment peering into the cabinet his broad shoulders blocking the party's view. Giles then turns around holding a glass vial with a black viscose icor coating the inside bottom of the vial.
"We've still not discovered the source of it. It's not like every disappearance as you know," Giles explains offering the bottle to Nix who then offers the bottle to Doc.
"What do you think, " Nix asks as Giles too looks at Doc curiously.
Kerri nods in agreement to the choice of the Black Flagon as their destination. At Mae's question about parchment she pats her pack. But as it seems they will try and get a map she stops and just follows along next to Lancelin towards the tavern.
When Nix suggests everyone sticking together, she switches direction and heads back to the hall along with the others.
Kerri gladly accepts the handshake from Giles, giving him a nod of her head in greeting. She then watches with curiosity to see what Doc might come up with.
Mae smiled at Kerri as she patted her pack and mouthed a "Thank you" to her. She took a look back at the town and then followed the group back into the hall, looking a bit surprised at how busy it was now. She was happy to greet the half orc and followed him with some curiosity as they went to fetch the ichor. Putting the plans for the map on the back of her mind, she craned her neck around to see what this strange substance was.
