(@Lerus: Safe to presume it hasn't already been 8 hours since Obsben cast Aid? if so, her max and current health should be 66 and 65 respectively after deducting Temp Hp.)
"That... hurt... Ow."Obsben staggered back a step in surprise in shock, before promptly shaking her head and glaring at the kobolds. "Uh.. uhm... not sure holding back might be wise these guys." She states she hurriedly dug out several gold pieces, then sent them flying with a few arcane phrases and a slingshot off the weave for the one most visible after a bit of shuffling.
Afterwhich she all but dives around a pillar for cover, and mentally bid Salty Bottom to come out from under her hat and sneak to another pillar. "Alright Utar, I got part for you. Your a mean, green, fighting machine, and ain't no bunch of dragon puppies are gonna slow your roll." She bardic-ally inspired from the relative safety of the ground.
Neya stows away the javelin she had plucked from midair and rushes across the main path to improve her line of sight. Whipping out her new bow, she launches two arrows at a selected target, the first of which splashes into a bubble of acidic sap. The second arrow hits the nearby standing stone. (Swolbold#2 takes 13 magical piercing and acid damage.)
Meanwhile, Graxx finds a spot behind a boulder and keeps his wits about him in an unusual display of calmness in battle. The paladin half of the warrior is poking through his traditional barbarian approach to combat!
Obsben gets a bit closer to the nearest standing stone and pays another fee to Waukeen. She watches as half of the golden shards of energy ping off the kobold's heavy armor. (Swolbold#3 takes 17 force damage.)
The halfling then invites Salty Bottom onto the battlefield. The winged monkey imitates his master, taking cover behind an opposing standing stone.
Finally, the story-teller stage-whispers some motivational words to Utar(Bardic Inspiration).
Utar also finds a standing stone to stand behind, suggesting as he moves that the group let the kobolds advance instead of the other way around. In preparation for such an event, the Tormite also calls some companions onto the battlefield.

Wielding makeshift, jagged blades that resemble greataxes, three swolbolds rush towards each of Neya and Graxx, with another two flanking Utar. The two farthest away from CRAP unfurl leathery wings and take it to the air, holding javelins and flying high above any cover Neya and Graxx were hoping to hide behind. The creature's magical enhancements become even more apparent when some of them rush across impressive distances and are still able to attack. They each swing twice while in close-quarter combat:
Neya is able to dodge a couple of the attacking swings but, once one hits, the others follow relentlessly. The monk comes within an inch of losing consciousness. (Neya takes 46 slashing damage., taking into account Cutting Words by Obsben detailed here.)
Graxx fares a bit better, but can't avoid all of the slashes. (Graxx takes 20 slashing damage.)
Utar put his shield to good use, though that happens one slash too late. (Utar takes 5 slashing damage.)

Obsben's eyes widened only just a little mute shock seeing the speed and fury of the kobolds. She chewed her lip and squirmed a bit, tempted to try and studying them more; but, knowing far better, she huffed and pulled out her book next to recite another tale. "Though mighty were their foes arrayed, none of the heroes strayed! For what was shone to be the bane of so few, the strength of their bond never waned, only renewed!" She declared; her voice briefly cutting through the din as her newfound allies found their strength both magically renewed and bolstered.
Though after which she looked back at her words and half-muttered, "Hm... Gonna need that edit that line before the final cut." Before then aloud adding, "Oh, and uh, you show'em Neya what a real, uh, fist of legend in the making can do. Just like that fellow Jaki Tahn I told you about yesterday."

Then, the second strikes proves to be the last one this swolbold will ever take. (Swolbold#2 takes 32 magical bludgeoning and slashing damage and is DEFEATED.)
Graxx finally lets his inner barbarian out. With the aid of Utar's god instead of his own, the tribesman decapitates the first kobold in front of him. It takes two slashes but the deed is done. (Swolbold#8 takes 50 magical slashing and radiant damage and is DEFEATED.)
