"The tabaxi first appeared when Lord Byron came back from one of his trips. I am not sure if it was the morning after or the night before, but we were introduced to the tabaxi first thing that morning by Lord Byron and he asked us to give him every courtesy." The butler takes a swig of his drink, "Nothing seems off about Lord Byron that I can tell."
"Do you know where Lord Byron had traveled to?" Bones asks.
After the response, Bones gets up and leans over to Watl saying, "I'll be needing to refresh my look very soon, and his temperament," nodding to the butler, "in about ten minutes or so, will quickly turn sour - whether I'm here or not."
Bones turns to the butler, saying, "I'll be back shortly, have something to tend to. In the meantime, listen to my friend here - he is a smart guy, you should heed his instructions and advice."
The butler tells Bones that he doesn't know where Lord Byron goes on his little jaunts.
Addressing Watl over the course of the conversation when asked questions, the butler lets you know the same as Bones, that he is unaware of where or what Lord Byron does when not at the mansion. Lady Zelia is the matron of the Stratton estate. "I happen to think you're right that Lord Byron could use some new friends, you and your companion seem very nice. Where has he gone? Will he be coming back soon?"
"He sure will. He has a lady friend up there that he's checking on, if I know him! Haha! You'll have to introduce me to Lord Byron some time. I'm sure we'd get along swimmingly." Watl replies with a smile. "In fact, why wait? How about we do that shortly?"
When Watl mentions going to meet with Lord Byron, Zack gets up to go the washroom (or whatever passes for one here). Since he cast his spell a lot later than Bones did, he should still have his disguise active. Once Zack is out of sight, he will refresh his disguise with another casting of Disguise Self. He will now change to look like a different guy from before and will take a different seat at a nearby empty table.
He will keep an eye out for Bones since he knows that the Cleric also went to refresh his disguise.
The butler doesn't take notice of any of you leaving to change or refresh their disguises. He is on his 3rd drink, in fact he almost finish with that one so his senses are a little dulled.
"I think you and your friend would be better company for Lord Byron than that strange tabaxi fellow, so I would be more than happy to introduce you to him but can I get just one more drink first... and, well, since we're here already maybe take advantage of the services?"
Bones reappears, as himself, and walks up to the table. He addresses the butler, "Ah - you must be the gent that Sandrick told me about. I ran into him in the halls above. He said to make sure you were taken care of."
He calls over one of the waitresses to refill the butler's drink, and inquires about services for the man. He pays her upfront for both on the butler's behalf. He addresses the butler and says, "There, all taken care of. When you're done, come find us. I have business to discuss with this good sir."
"So, Watl, as the butler is having his fun - where do you think we go from here?" Bones asks.
During the conversation, he recounts the visit with the tabaxi.
"I think we should hit that incoming caravan - we need to choke as many sources of income as we can," Bones concludes.
On top of the above, Bones adds, "Actually, I'll leave the butler to you - I'm going to see what I can find out about that spice caravan.
-----
Once out on the town, Bones goes about hitting up his spice sellers to sell them more batches from the store. He also starts asking about rumors regarding the incoming spice shipment and the route it's taking.
Zack doesn't fully trust Watl... especially since only a few days have passed in-game in the last few months, if I'm not mistaken. So, Zack hasn't really gotten to know the party for too long. He liked Cavare but he's dead so...
Anyway, Zack, with his refreshed disguise, will stay around and keep an eye on Watl and the Butler.
Hours turn to days (and then well over a year) as Jianyu watches the Stratton Estate. None have come or gone. Some of his party never returned from within. He returns to the Broken Barrel to report to the others, but he finds no one. It seems the party has decided on discretion after all. The members of the Chorus have scattered to the wind.
Jianyu must have not seen him beneath his cloak, and Trust is alright with that. He didn't see anyone after the manor that day, and he didn't need to see them now. He's fine living withing his drink.

The butler thanks you and asks that you thank Sandrick when you see him next then finishes his drink and hurries upstairs.
