Count could use 4hp from the kit before the short rest. Saves his hit die and he’ll be eligible for the Healer feat again after the short rest.
Dolrik is only down 1 hp, so if you want to expend a usage of the feat before this short rest, he’ll be maxed. Then he’ll be eligible after the short rest.
Yoku is now at 29/36 before this short rest. We have 3 options:
1 - Healing Word (1d4+4) from Dolrik before or after this short rest (might not max him out).
2 - use hit die at the end of this short rest (might not max him) - could still follow up with option 1 or 3 afterwards.
3 - don’t use hit die or Healing Word, but use the Healer feat AFTER the short rest (if 9-14, he’ll definitely max - he’s only down 7), but he won’t be eligible for the Healer feat until AFTER our next short or long rest.
Dolrik has Healing Word with currently 4 1st level slots. He has no potions of healing.
He could Bless 3 with a 1st level slot or 4 with his last 2nd level slot.
I think I’d Bless the 3 of you, if there’s time before we might be split up. But the casting is 6 seconds and readying it will lose it if not triggered in a given 6 second window.
The Lay on Hands for 4 (Count) and 1 (Dolrik) before the short rest sounds good.
Still need Yoku’s thoughts on using hit die or the Healer feat after the short rest.
You’re again escorted through the portal/door. This time, you emerge into a lake inside a small underground cavern. The four of you are on a small island in the middle, a out 20 ft across in any direction.
the roof is covered in glowing algae, providing the cavern with dim light. As you look around, you see the walls at around 100 ft away in any one direction, and about halfway (so 50 ft away) in between you and the walls in a sort of semicircle are seven more rocks peeking out of the water with the following enemies on them. A cockatrice, a crocodile, a darkling, a crushing wave reaver, a clawfoot raptor, Clapperclaw the Scarecrow, and a frickin creeper from Minecraft that’s in the list of monsters for whatever reason. Roll initiative!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
With an average initiative of roughly 12 for you all and 17 for the enemies, the enemies go first.
The scarecrow leaps in the water and begins swim-floating towards you, moving and dashing to make it 25 ft. The raptor starts swimming as well, ranching the edge of your island by loving and dashing. The cockatrice flies 40 ft towards you and dodges. The creeper begins swimming too, making it 30 ft by dashing. The croc slips into the water and disappears. A couple seconds later, you see it’s shape swim up to the edge of the rock. The wave reaver throws a javelin at nadir with disadvantage due to long range, then begins swimming. Attack: 16 Damage: 3
The darkening throws a dagger, also at disadvantage, at Count, then begins swimming as well. Attack: 9 Damage: 16
1d4 is piercing and the 2d6 is necrotic. You guys are up!

If I haven’t offended you, don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll get to you eventually.
(Healing range of a kit is 9-14 hp)
The spell is already spent.

What did you want to do for Yoku's health? Hit Dice, spell, or taking your chances with what you got?
Will Count or Dolrik have the chance to Cast Bless on the group before they all go separate ways?

1 hp +18 (prayer of healing) +10 hp (healing kit)
29 +8
During the short rest I spend 1 healing surge and Yoku is full.
Right! If everyone is ready we’ll move into our next battle.
