The catoblepas moves 30 ft forward and targets Count with its death Ray (cause I think he’s in front?)Death Ray . The catoblepas targets one creature it can see within 30 feet of it. The target must make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw, taking 44 necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. If the saving throw fails by 5 or more, the target instead takes double damage. The target dies if reduced to 0 hit points by this ray.
The troll moves and dashes to melee range as well. You guys are up!

With that, Counts Drumans ride in this mind trap has ended, with some loot left behind. Nadir fells the extra protection around her fade out as quick as it had come when count had touched her shoulder.
(Worst part is he has an ability that would have saved him from the double damage, possibly even turned to a success, but i used it last fight!)
Count Druman was starting to feel like this little group that had got thrown together by this crowds controller's or by thier mercy had hit a stride that they could defy the odds and last. Seems like an eternity ago when Cou t thought he had met his fate getting shoved off that platform by the dwarf, but now Count felt like he could take on any challenge thrown at him. The last round Count managed to ride off without a scratch on him or Sir Spitz. Watching the priest fall and the fear Count had felt disappearing, he watched as Nadir stepped back a few paces from the oncoming. Count started to turn Sir Spitz to do the same but with that fear he has felt behind him, his confidence restored, he felt no need to play safe like had to this point. As the monsters approached, Count saw the beam for a split second before it hit him, open his arms as of to embrace the power of whatever it was. Gritting his teeth to will himself threw another attempt to beat him down, he faced it head on. All of a sudden he was back falling from that cliff. How did he get here, where was he galling from and wear is he going. Hus thoughts drift away from the monsters he was facing just moments before. Slowly thoughts of his life prior to this place start drifting by him. Slowly as he starts to recall the people he knew in life his thoughts start to slip away, from him and from all.
