How would you imagine that the two of them met/what the relationship should be? (for context: Bridgette comes from the absolute bottom of society; she was enslaved by Dark Elves as a child, and was later rescued by her patron [a lich by the name of Akkron who stumbled upon her during completely unrelated business in the Underdark] because he noticed untapped magical potential in her that would have been totally wasted in slavery.) Bridgette is probably best described as Chaotic Neutral as well (not really malicious, and won't try to hurt people who haven't done anything to her... but if they get caught in the crossfire when she's trying to achieve something she won't lose too much sleep as long as she can do the necessary mental gymnastics to make whatever happened 'not her fault').
Yeah Vanja is in the same chaotic neutral sphere - doesn't set out to hurt people, but if they get in the way... *shrug*
I'm imagining a pair who first worked together by necessity not by inclination and they found out they are a good complement. They don't like each other particularly, but they trust each other to watch their back and they know the other's strengths, weaknesses and foibles. Kind of like older sister/younger sister dynamic maybe - they are frequently exasperated by the other but they fit together and know exactly what button to push.

Hmmm... that would work. Maybe they did a jail break together or something like that?
Just a test of maps and opening title (Just need what type of formatting I need for the saved files)
This is Binder's Hold, a school started by a group of ex-adventurers on a set of crossroads. Initially it was just a few students, and the group was content with that. The discovery of iron in the area led to the group increasing its wealth by selling shares to a mining company, which in turn drew an ever increasing population of service and support providers. Binder's Hold eventually grew into a small university town specializing in the teaching of esoteric knowledge.
Unfortunately for this population has been recently pillage and turned into a base of operations for the Arch-Lich Magolynn's Raiders as he attempts to increase the size of his new empire. This is where your group comes in.
I want in on this "old friends" thing a little. I like the idea of a group of evil shits that all have each other's backs
I wouldn't mind having another member of the 'Dark Musketeers,' if valeskah doesn't mind. What kind of character concept did you have in mind?
(Also... I can see an interesting dynamic here since Bridgette's patron is a lich and it looks like the BBEG of this campaign is also a lich... would even a bunch of evil shits be comfortable working with someone sworn to the service of a lich under these circumstances? Do they know what Bridgette's patron is? Interesting questions to contemplate...)
I have the encounters basically figured out... just need to get the hard part done... writing the story and battle maps, so probably a couple weeks to get that all ready.

Sounds like fun. Did we all break out of the same prison?

Holy crap there's a lot happening on this thread now. Do you guys think you might have room for some dumb muscle, because if you do Rog is pretty much the definition.
Testing my editing skills... looking pretty good :)
woot got it down...

Either that or the bard was the "legal representation" helping sneak in supplies. I'm good with either
I'll post more later but here's a picture of Ravager carousing.

Marcus mclaughlin
Rog is a half-orc, right? I wonder if he might be a relative of Bridgette's...
LOL looks like I don't have to write up a good reason why you guys are all together in the first place...
Cats go Moo!
Yep! Saves you a lot of brain-work lol
Okay, I love the idea that you were a corrupt attorney who helped the rest of the party escape!
That could definitely work maybe a sibling or cousin and we're the last blood family each other has
Marcus mclaughlin
Half-brother maybe? Same father and different mothers?
Sounds good. Though I don't think he broke out of jail with you guys, maybe you contacted him once you got out for extra protection.
