(OOC - Also, during the musical duel, they put a "A beautiful magical blue cloak" on Rylia. Did she get to keep that? Because if so she would definitely wear it to remember that event!)
Bryn hears Rylia stir, then ask him how long he had been awake. "Just a little bit. I had a dream last night and I wanted to remember it...I had some clear and vivid memories from my childhood and of my parents in it. Wonderful memories - peaceful and loving, from before the disasters that separated us. I needed them! I also dreamed about the stories and legends of my species, about the Traveler and his blessing to changelings to protect us in this world. It made me remember that I should be proud to be a changeling. I would love to share these memories and stories with you, my dearest Rylia, over the next few days and months. But first, we should get ready for today's adventures. You're welcome to have the bath first. Just call out if you need help scrubbing your back or anything..." Bryn finishes with a wink and a mischievous grin!
(OOC Oh, lord, these Rylia´s rolls hahaha) Now awake, and with all her synapses alert, Rylia takes a closer look at the tattoo on her thigh. She recognizes it as being a form very similar to one of House Phierlan's basic dragonmarks. She very clearly feels the arcane energy in this and has the impression that her instincts and her perception are sharper.
Rylia knows that the members of this house have the shadow mark, which gives them great abilities to disguise themselves, to hide, to be optimus lusionists, which made Phiarlan an entertainment house composed of bards, actors, artists and acrobats, and running most of Khorvaire's entertainment industry. //--- DM your tattoos are something like this---//
Rylia remembers a classmate from Wizard´s school who was from House Phierlan. There was gossips through the corridors that he belonged to some kind of clan or circle and that he was an pro assassin. It was also said that some of the members of the house took advantage of their skills to sell their services as spies. It was even said that they committed their commissioned murders during their performances, between one act and another, which gave them perfect alibis.
Rylia sees the blue cloak she wore yesterday during the performance on the floor beside her bed. It probably fell while she was sleeping. She looks at it and thinks how nice it was its touch and thought she would like to use it again. Immediately upon this thought, the cloak floats towards Rylia, landing over her sholders.
//--- DM It appears to be a simple cloak, which when attuned to you, can read your thoughts and respond to simple commands such as embrace me, hang in the the rack, wrap yourself in the shape of a pillow, and so on. I'm going to assume that his attunement took place in an unconventional way last night during the show :-) --- //
If Braxiel allows himself to be examined, Coltinar, at first glance, will notice that the tattoo seems had vanished, leaving the region where it was reddish. However, on closer inspection, the Cleric realizes that the mark is still there, just very faint, barely perceptible, and completely lost its shape. Its rounded lines now look like thin roots that are reaching out to different parts of the wizard's body.
One line runs down his left shoulder, two down his back, and another, a bit more vivid, runs down his right collarbone towards his chest. Despite a little burning and redness, Braxiel no longer feels so uncomfortable.
Brother Coltinar, "This tattoo is......very......unique my friend. It seems to be interwoven with your body. The others have not seemed to have had a similar reaction. I'm guessing you have a more potent version of the tattoos. Do you feel ok? You were quite restless last night my friend. I am concerned that you are ok. I have not dealt with this before so I can only guess what's happening to you."

Rylia seems very interested in Bryn's dream. She seems to change her expression a little at the mention of the Traveler "That's really exciting about the memories of your childhood and parents. And you should be proud of being a changeling. I'd really like to hear more about it. More about you!"
She sighs, "But we should get going. A quick bath is in order and find some new clothes."
She starts to get up from the bed, and moves towards the bath. With a thought she thinks about her cloak flying over to the cloak peg on the wall. Immediately it detaches and flies over to the spot. "I love this! This cloak may be the best thing I've ever worn! Amazing!"
After gazing happily at the cloak a moment, she continues to the bath. "I've managed to wash myself all these years, but I'll let you know Bryn. But are you only able to wash my back? What if I need help with the front?"
She gives a quick laugh and slips off to the bath.
Gallant, Annoyed with the peppering of questions, "I am fine, Priest. Do not worry yourself."
"Ah..I can see the events have made you grumpy", replies Brother Coltinar. "No worries my friend. I'll leave you be. Don't hesitate to see me if you should need something."
Brother Coltinar seeks out the others privately and says, "Braxiel's tattoo is different it seems, or his body didn't tolerate the process as well. We need to keep an eye on him just in case of subterfuge by those actors/changelings/magicians. If so, we'll need to let it play out most likely as I'm not sure we can do much without knowing more. Be watchful so we can protect Braxiel if needed."

You finish your preparations and head to the hall where Savine and Cetus are on hand to serve those who wish to have breakfast. As soon as she sees you, Savine greets you with a warm good morning. The Halfling hands Rylia or Bryn (whoever she sees first) an envelope. Inside the envelope you find 20gp and a brief note:
´Dear Rylia and Bryn Please accept this small portion of our payment at yesterday's show as a thank you for your participation. It was great and we had a lot of fun! I wish you luck in your ways! Festive greetings, Ruven D´Phiarlan P.S. Bryn, if you're interested, upon our return to Sharn, we can talk about the possibility of you joining our troupe.´
After his own bath and putting on clean and fresh clothes, (can I get one of these auto-clothes-cleaners for my REAL house?!!?) Bryn arranges his gear for an adventure. He asks Rylia if she's ready and will offer to help if she wants but doesn't assume that she's not perfectly capable of packing her own gear! While packing, he tells her everything he remembers about his dream. (read Bryn's dream spoiler =)Bryn also asks Rylia if she had any dreams, and about the mark from last night, and is super excited about her new blue cloak!
"I love that cloak! It really suits you - and adds to your mystique. I wonder if you can make it do any other tricks, like wrap up something to carry back to you, or somebody so they can't attack you? Maybe we can experiment with it later. Anyway, are we ready for the next step in this adventure? I'm really happy that we're together, Ryl. I can be content wherever I am, be it a fancy hotel, or a rough campsite on the edge of a road, or in the tunnels and caves beneath the city, if you're there with me. Of course, I'll be happier with a good breakfast - come on!" he ends with a playful tug on her hand towards the door.
Brother Coltinar used the rooms amenities to their full potential getting his clothes cleaned and his morning wake up process along with a morning wake up splash of water with warm towel. After getting himself ready he heads down to the restaurant to slowly take in the mornings offering with a an OJ, Milk and Coffee or the equivalents that are available.
As each of the party arrive, he stands and greats them as they sit. "I trust you had an enjoyable nights sleep and a refreshing morning so far? This place is marvelous and to be honest I have not had the pleasure of having been able to enjoy such extravagances. I feel guilty as a follower of Dol Arras, these things are not something I would normally be able to enjoy most likely. It is a marvel to witness what possibilities there are in the world though."

Rylia starts to come out of the bath, muttering as she does. "Dang! Forgot to get my clothes picked out!" However, just as she is walking out she makes a motion with her hand, causing a 5' long by 5' tall screen to appear about a half foot off the ground. It is ornately decorated with sea birds and an ocean scene and is located between her path to her wardrobe and where Bryn is standing. Having very few items that she had brought from her apartment, she quickly picks an outfit and retreats again to the bathroom to get dressed.
She comes out dressed a short while later. She's wearing an off-white top with blue along the edges. There are a couple of small blue flowers embroidered on the front as well. It has a fairly deep plunging neckline. She also has a tan colored pants, a bit billowy like the ones she'd worn the night they had been attacked. Her hair is still a mess, but she has a brush in hand. "I will try to get my hair in shape, and you can wash up if you like Bryn."
By the time Bryn is ready, Rylia's hair has been done to her satisfaction. She gets her pack put together while he does and listens to his description of his dream. "No, I just slept! No dreams here." When he's concluding, she seems about to ask something, but when Bryn tugs on her hand she grasps it and follows him out the door. At the last moment she remembers her cloak and thinks, 'Cloak, fly to me!' and it responds in an instant, flying to fit in place and secure about her neck. "Yes! Let's go!"
Arriving for the breakfast, she sees Coltinar and is a little taken aback by him standing to greet them. "How gallant of you," she tells him. "Good morning to you as well." She takes a seat next to Bryn and gets some sort of juice to drink to start off.
Arr don’t really know what to do with most services and simply enjoy the large spaces everywhere. For breakfast, they will sheepishly order some of the oils that are on offer, knowing full well that they aren’t required for them to work correctly. The act of ordering food feels wasteful to them and they feel they exploit the hospitality offered to them. On the other hand, everyone here is wasteful to an extent that is beyond their imagination. Perhaps, a little indulgence into the luxury does not hurt anyone? “Our night was uneventful, after the show, of course. The view from the rooms is spectacular and worth noting.”

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
"I never did get a chance to enjoy the view from the room," Rylia says as she nudges Bryn. "You should have told me! You were looking out the window when I woke up." She gives him a grin, then turns back to the general conversation. When there's a chance to order, she'll pick something light - perhaps just eggs and some fruit on the side.
As Rylia and Bryn had arrived together, she lets him take the envelope from Savine. When she see the payment she says, "At least half of that is yours, and I won't take any arguments. You probably deserve more, as I did get this cloak." Her eyes move about the table at her other companions as she mentions it. "Oh! Have you seen this?" She quickly stands pushing the edge of the cloak away from her as she does. She thinks about the cloak fluttering, as though in a breeze, although there isn't one. And as she thinks it the cloak does it, making it seems as though she's standing outside, perhaps on the bow of a ship. In a flash, she makes a motion with her hands, grasping at the crystal around her neck. Behind her, the image of a vast ocean appears and the sound of gulls crying amidst crashing waves. (Improved Minor Illusion) It lasts only a minute and then she sits down.
Trying to locate a cloak peg near at hand, as she starts to sit she thinks, 'Cloak, go hang on that peg.' The group sees the cloak fly off her shoulders and place itself on the peg. Rylia sits as though nothing had happened. But her face has a huge smile on it. "It is perhaps the most wonderful piece of clothing I have ever heard of!"
Bryan gratefully accepts 10 gold coins but refuses more. "You fully deserve that cloak and all of these coins - I was only part of your supporting cast. However, I will humbly accept a portion of the payment. Besides, that cloak seems to really suit you!" He also points to the line about his joining the troupe and raises his eybrows in a questioning manner, but doesn't feel this is a good time to discuss it with Rylia.
Bryn drops his pack and his bow in a corner and sits at the table. He also eats a lighter breakfast than he had the previous day - he didn't want to be weighed down by a full meal of waffles and syrup!
