Locke's kick connects solidly, doing reasonable damage before he lands. But as he tries to leap backwards, the creature swings his morningstar, doing significant damage to the merchant. He clutches his chest where the blow struck, and grimaces.
(( OOC: I read back and noticed cyreon's comment that Aid doesn't just give temp HP, it gives actual hit points and raises one's max HP. Still couldn't use it twice on someone, but it DOES allow temp HP to stack on top. Sorry I forgot to point that out earlier, cyreon. ))

Rizo's staff was still on fire after the previous attack and, now, Rizo wills the fire upwards into a small orb that suddenly explodes. From the explosion emerges a fiery monarch butterfly, that flits above Rizo's head. With a backward movement of his staff, Rizo instructs the butterfly to teleport them 15ft backwards (SE to the southern headstone), "Moni, please, would you?"
Action: Summon Wildfire Spirit (DEX save DC 15 for everyone within 10 feet - Gordon and the three zombies 1, 2 and 4) or 5 fire damage
Bonus Action: Command Wildfire Spirit to take Fiery Teleportation action: (DEX save DC 15 for everyone within 5 feet - Gordon and the three zombies 1, 2 and 4) or 5 fire damage
Summon Wildfire Spirit
2nd-level Circle of Wildfire feature
You can summon the primal spirit bound to your soul. As an action, you can expend one use of your Wild Shape feature to summon your wildfire spirit, rather than assuming a beast form.
The spirit appears in an unoccupied space of your choice that you can see within 30 feet of you. Each creature within 10 feet of the spirit (other than you) when it appears must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC or take 2d6 fire damage.
The spirit is friendly to you and your companions and obeys your commands. See this creature’s game statistics in the Wildfire Spirit stat block, which uses your proficiency bonus (PB) in several places. You determine the spirit’s appearance. Some spirits take the form of a humanoid figure made of gnarled branches covered in flame, while others look like beasts wreathed in fire.
Fiery Teleportation. The spirit and each willing creature of your choice within 5 feet of it teleport up to 15 feet to unoccupied spaces you can see. Then each creature within 5 feet of the space that the spirit left must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC or take 1d6 + PB fire damage.

(( Zombies are up! ))
The three zombies surrounding Gordon all attack him at once, moaning as they swing their weapons. The one near Locke swings, but finds itself stymied by the small gap between the headstones; it then lashes out at the barrier, knocking it down before stepping right up to the merchant.
Ruaccek decends to within 20 ft of the zombies and hovers holding his holy symbol for all to see and hear him speak.
"Be gone foul creatures of the undead. Back to the underworld." Ruaccek adds says, "friends do not attack those that try to flee from me as that will release them to attack us once more.

Gordon manages to deftly avoid the flames erupting from Rizo's summoned assistant, remaining unscathed even as the zombies around him burn.
Then Ruaccek's descending show of holy might arrests the zombies' attention; giving louder, higher-pitched moans, the ones attacking Gordon all immediately turn to flee!
Gordon follows Rizo's instructions, holding an action to attack a zombie if it breaks free from the fear.

Heeding his companion's words, Gordon stands his ground and readies himself in case one of the fleeing zombies returns.
(( Locke is up! ))
The merchant smiled to himself; his companions were impressive, and it meant that the effort from this outing would be well worth it. Turning back to the zombie in front of him, who'd not been affected by Ruaccek's magic, Locke let his ki flow and resumed his attack, kicking at the creature's lower limb, then spinning to do so again, and finally leaping to spin into a third kick, before landing back into a defensive posture.
ACTION: Unarmed attack on the zombie, remembering the blessing this time * Roundhouse Kick - Attack: 12, Damage: 4 bludgeoning & 5 necrotic (add 7 and 5 on crit) BONUS: Spend 1 ki point to use Flurry of Blows * Reverse Roundhouse - Attack: 17, Damage: 9 bludgeoning & 2 necrotic (add 5 and 4 on crit) * Spinning Jump Kick - Attack: 8, Damage: 5 bludgeoning & 3 necrotic (add 3 and 4 on crit)
All three of the merchant's kicks land solidly, the final blow causing a loud crack as the ogre zombie's leg buckles and it falls to a knee, now literally on its last leg.
Rizo, too, follows Ruaccek’s instructions and holds a Fire Bolt for the first zombie that doesn’t seem to be afraid of them. Only Moni, he instructs to shoot down the one zombie that Locke nearly knocked out. Rizo is prepared to unleash his spell on Locke’s zombie should Moni miss.
Attack (bonus action through Moni): 12 Damage: 6 Fire damage
Attack (readied spell to be fired on the first zombie that isn’t frightened after Moni’s attack): 18 Damage: 16 Fire damage
(( OOC: Indeed; Zombie #1 hasn't had a chance to actually run yet, but thanks for the reminder. ))
Moni's Flame Seed strikes the zombie in front of Locke, and the creature gives one long moan before falling onto its chest, snuffing out the remaining fire on its torso.
However, the fallen zombie gives a jerk, then another moan as it seemingly rises from the dead. The corpse actually pushes itself onto its knees and stands up again, shakily, but once more raising its morningstar to strike.
Seeing this, Rizo lets loose with his prepared spell, trying to ensure the creature stays down. The bolt of fire lands, this time on the zombie's face, and it gives a bizarre, gasping moan as it once again falls flat.
The last zombie struggles in vain as Gordon uses his strength and leverage to maintain his grip on the creature, keeping it from moving more than a couple of inches. The others manage to flee sixty feet from the aarakocra.
