Darath looks back at Riyah with a puzzled look. Don't think I've ever been "holy" beforehe thinks.
He considers Rivel's words. Better pay already with expenses paid. And hopefully those orcs have some good plunder. This is looking promising now. He doesn't take a look to see what the lady writes. Seems improper of a soldier to scrutinize someone like so. After seeing the depiction of Sigae he says, "Should be an easy enough man to recognize."
To Riyah he says, "Mind if I join you? I'll probably wait until Frotbix to do shopping, but it's always nice to browse. Might even pick up some rumors about the road blockage ahead."
Looking over at the crestfallen Salty, his smile softens. "Salty, Lathander only cares that your intentions today are good. We ALL have something in our past we consider irredeemable."
Glendare leans towards the rest of the group and begins to stand up while asking "When do we set off? Thank you for helping clear up the financial portions of this. I'll certainly accompany you shopping, you never know what you find.
As Glendare heads towards the door, he quietly casts Detect Magic and glances over his companions and employer.

Saltstrider tries really hard to remember what Lathander is the god of, religion 18.
Salty, you can remember that Lathander is the god of Dawn, Youth and also self-perfection.
Firstly with Glendare, how come you are going towards the door. Secondly, you can see a sharp magic piercing the area which originates from Rivel's chest. However, you cannot recognise this magic, and it is too powerful to look at directly.
"Glendare, was it? I recommend you don't. Look into. The origin. Of my necklace." Rivel seems to be looking slightly further above you, and to your right. "And I recommend none of you try to take it either. It's hard to live with. Glendare and the others, you can leave shortly, I am not coming with you, I apologise. I am needed to stay here for a while, and then head into Frotbix likely after you've left. So if you'd like to get there quickly, I'll let you leave now."

Look at it! Beauty! A spoiler!
Look what you've done, spoiling it for you and everyone who can see this screen. You're a disgrace, you know that, right? You have nothing to be ashamed of but yourself, you moster!
But to be completely fair, every monster has a cute side, like have you seen people draw goblins? Goblins look so cool! You're fine, you may seem like a monster, but I bet you're cute on the inside!
Glendare looks slightly surprised by the strength of the response.
Why, Rivel, I would be in quite the barrel with my Lathander if I were to take something not offered!! I'm deeply sorry if I offended as that was not my intent! I like to rummage through weapons shops with an active Detect Magic as you'd be AMAZED what people sell. Why, once, I saw a beautiful dagger that made me weep when I saw how deep the curse lay in it's sharpened steel.
He sits down again.
If you recall, I get a bit excited. I thought we were going browsing and I wanted to see if anyone was already owning something. Helps to shop when you know who's needing what.
"Well, then, it's best I take you there now that out business here is resolved. Follow, and let me show you the weapons you may not be ready for..." Rivel gets up and packs everything into a rucksack, before heading to the same door that Glendare was at. If Glendare was too slow to sit down before Rivel went to the door, Rivel will hold the necklace tight incase of any foul attempt of catching even a glance. She will gesture to the entire party and head across two bridges. On the second bridge, a smaller rope bridge hanged between it and an abnormally tall building. Halfway up the building hung a hanging sign that read: Great Gandelad's Weaponries. Rivel walked in confidently and went straight to the counter, muttering a phrase to another person's ear. This person immediately spoke out.
"Is this the company you said you might bring today? Very well. Follow me upstairs." The man very quickly dashed up the staircase, and you could here the clatter and screech of scraping metal. "I apologise on his behalf, Gandeled often prepares too late in the day for traveling company." Rivel says this, and then waits for the clutter of steel to pause, before walking up the stairs, making a very loud sound for every step.

I go by “Awe” JSYK
“A wizard is never late, Frodo Baggins. Nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to!”
Glendare smiles bemused at his ally as he follows Rivel up the stairs.
In my line of work I've found myself consistently surprised. A rusty blade that poisoned its owner. A cloak removed from a bugbear that improved stealth. I have the time, ability, and duty to ensure I'm helping my friends. We may come outside getting a surprise when we look around.
Glendare walks up the stairs and looks around the shop, looking for some ranged equipment or something that may give off a magical aura.
Riyah looks at Darath with incredulous eyes. She appears at a loss for words. She places a curved finger on her lips as she is deeply contemplating her response. Until final she relaxes her facial muscles to form a more neutral expression.
"Are you sure that you want to join me? I'm not good company. You might find yourself disappointed." Riyah says with a slight hitch in her otherwise steady voice.
"And I might find myself pleased." replies Darath, "Regardless of how good of company you are, we'll be working together on this task. May as we get acquainted with each other. So what kind of supplies were you looking to get?"
As the group reach the top of the stairs, the building looks a lot more homey, as if Gandeled lived here (which he does). You see a heavy and very large painting put against the wall, and next to it was a similar shaped hole in the wall, leading into an isolated room with its walls racked with everything from magic to martial: daggers with golden lining, scimitars with tarr-black blades, even a couple of instruments were in the corner.
"If it's the magic items you're looking for, they'd be here. The basic equipment is down the stairs. Feel free to browse up here, or buy. Rivel's been here enough to know what's what, so humour her, not me. I will be downstairs if you need me."
On the walls, there are lots of weapons, some of which are just +1 or +2 weapons, and some are the other uncommon magic items. If you want an item, Gandeled will likely have it, so find an item your character would like, and I will flavour it and give it a price (if I think it might be on sale/in stock).
If you don't have the money to purchase, you will have many opportunities for it.

Upon hearing Darath's compliment, Riyah turns her face away so no one will see her blush. It takes a herculean degree of control to configure her face back into a more deadpan expression. However, her lips still quiver ever so slightly.
"You truly are a peculiar man. I don't know whether that's a good thing or bad. Personally, I'm afraidto find out. "
As she utters these words a faint smile appears on face. However, in a blink of an eye it's gone.
Darath smiles slightly and a light friendly chuckle comes out, "Hopefully it's a good thing."
He takes a look at the various weapons and his face lights up like a kid in a candy shop. "These are fine weapons." He walks over to a greatsword and gives it a light swing, "I mean look at the balance on this thing. And the blade! I dare say I've never seen a sharper edge." He then puts the greatsword back and continues perusing, taking a look at some of the armor and thrown weapons.
[[
With thrown weapon style, probably impractical to get a bunch +1 javelins or things like that. And to be my knowledge there's no official items boosting thrown items the same way magic bows boost even the non-magical arrows. (with the + to attack/damage and magical nature being present even without a magical arrow) So he'd probably be looking more at armor to see if there's anything special there like a nice shield or something. Not exactly sure on what item specifically.
I like Salty's sense of fashion. The Cloak of Billowing is whimsically delightful. And given barbarians don't have much use for bonus actions, may as well! :D
I wouldn't be surprised if a Cloak of Many Fashions is on sale, and as Salty walk over to it, Rivel goes through something in her head and begins to speak:
"Cloak of Many Fashions, I see why you want it. I believe Gandeled wants it for 30 gold, but I'll pay anything you can't, because this employment is life-costing." Rivel looks around violently after saying that final phrase. "Ignore how I said that... Take it down to Gandeled in a moment, I want to see what everyone else wants to purchase." Rivel glances around and lays eyes upon a pair of golden kamas with tarr-black lining. The hilt of the handles slot together in a way that makes both blades point in one direction. He grabs them both by the hilt and spins them in her hand. "This craftsmanship... I wish I knew where Gandeled got these from!"
Seeing Darath most interested in the armour and shields, Rivel walks to the stands and hooks of armour and begins:
"I reccomend this scale-mail. I've seen it in action once, and it is imperresive! Apparently the scales came from the preserves of Frottel's silver dragon in Frotice, but I doubt the truth in that. Gandeled sells these for 40 gold, but once again, I can pay. It looks fabulous too..." Rivel runs her hands over the silver scales of the scale-mail and gives a little jump multiple times as if the air grew deadly cold. Rivel then dons a different gauntlet, a red one and admires it:
"This is just beautiful, and from the preserves of Helkon's red dragon! How Gandeled gets his hands on these I do not know, but he sells them for so cheap... I wonder..." Anyone that hears the mention of Frottel or of Helkon, roll a history check, and if you don't, I will for you.
