OOC: You sure? I thought he was just pretending to be Iarno, because he knows we're looking for him? Serak is going to interrogate the begeezus outta this guy. Beetle might want to leave for this. lol

OOC: The problem here, as before, is space. I can move you guys around easy enough this round, depending on where/if Brots moves. Serak I can move to the NW of Glasstaff n prevent an opportunity attack. But this then will stop Zyltris getting in to attack at all.
Space will get tight. Beetle, Syna and Serak will be giving Glasstaff cover if they take the 3 spaces in front of him. May or may not matter in the long run
Only mentioning it because if for example, Brots was to decide to step forward into the square in front of Glasstaff this round it’ll stop Syna getting in as well
OOC: We can circle around him, so long as we don't disengage. There are 5 empty spaces around him, so one for each of us. Serak will end his movement in the northeast corner.

OOC: Sure thats fine. I’ll take the desk and bed as difficult terrain for movement, as well as standard half speed for passing through allied squares.
The ruling on moving through enemy squares is that you can’t do it. But I’m happy enough to gloss over it and continue how we have been, otherwise we might end up getting blocked in in these tight corridors etc.
OOC: it makes sense that you can’t move through a square occupied by an enemy because why would they let you through, I can see a party member letting you pass through but I would think an enemy would hold their ground
OOC: Makes perfect sense. Problem we would have though is because the corridors are only 5 ft wide, everyone queues up. It ends up no one can move anywhere or get attacks in without creating cover! So it comes with pros and cons
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: Not sure where Brots has gone so I'll take a turn for him. Brots, If you want to change your action or movement at all let me know.
With the stand off in front of him suddenly turning to conflict, Brots raises his bow quickly, arrow already notched. He fires a shot quickly at the menacing wizard.
Brots Attack Roll: 10 Damage Roll: 9
The arrow sails through the air, embedding itself deep into Glasstaffs side. In an instant the wizards staff comes alive, a wave of invisible protecting energy rushes over him.
Seeing the wizard take the hit, Serak drops his crossbow and charges forward shouting out to his friends, "Surround him and grab him! He can't cast spells if we're holding him! We want him alive!" He reaches a hand out to grab the black bearded man while he inspects the arrow protruding rudely from his side.
Grapple: 1
Serak stumbles on a loose floor tile as he reaches for the wizards cloak, falling into the wall in the north east corner of the room. Slightly embarrassed he turns back towards the room hoping his allies can carry out his plan.
A sudden terrifying growl of "Alive!", springs from the doorway as Syna quickly takes the form of a wolf. Landing on all fours, he takes a quick step forward before launching himself towards Glasstaffs arms.
The wolfs teeth tear through the wizards fur cloak, instantly causing a torrent of blood to squirt through. Glasstaff tears his arm away quickly and somehow regains his balance. Syna crouches low on the ground, blood stained teeth bared ready. A deep growl bubbles from his throat.
With the wizard distracted, Beetle tries to grapple as well. He reaches out a strong arm for the wizard, grabbing at his free arm.
Again Glasstaff moves nimbly, dodging the attempted grab and breaks free. With a flick of his wrist he raises his staff with a quiet laugh, preparing to launch an attack of his own.
Hoping to end this before the wizard has a chance to make a blow, Zyltris steps forward, completing a defensive wall with his allies. He raises his morningstar once more, aiming to stop the wizard but not seriously injure.
Attack: 11
Spinning around the wizards cloak catches the elfs morningstar as it swings, softening the blow considerably. Glasstaff shrugs off the attack and begins to cast his own spell.
The wizards voice delves deeper, draconic words echoes all around, "Kwi jennu zezhuanthi.... Aso nomeno bakmada" A silvery mist fills the room, shrouding Glasstaff from view. With a swirling gust of wind the mist disappears taking the wizard with it. The party casts confused looks between them when in an instant a voice calls out from behind them. Standing at the doorway, Glasstaff stands triumphantly, "You gentlemen really do have a lot to learn. Take care now!"
Raising his staff once more, he quickly casts another spell, "Ancient Mages, Protect this body of mine!" His staff shimmers brightly as Glasstaff places a hand on his chest. A magical force surrounds his body, glowing all around him.
Turning quickly, the wizard whips open the door and makes his escape.
As the door swings open, Brots manages to slash his dagger across the wizards side. He escapes the room with a slight shriek of pain, leaving the party standing alone in the now empty bedchamber.

OOC: You're good, that was probably going to be my move anyways. I work everyday from 7:30am to 4pm EST. So posting during those hours during the week are tougher for me.
OOC: No probs Brots, I understand and it's nothing personal. I'll always try and wait for people to make moves, but I don't like keeping the others waiting for more than 12 hours or so, especially during combat! I don't like taking turns off you guys, after all if I did that all the time I'd just be playing by myself!
If you've ever any problems with me taking moves off you please let me know, it's usually dead easy to change rounds.
Brots is going to follow behind Glasstaff and as he goes through the door, he is going to scoot to the upper right corner of the room, to allow space for the rest of the party, he will then notch and arrow and send it sailing at Glasstaff. Attack: 24 Damage: 10

OOC: this is kind of an unusual set up, dungeons are 10 wide or more most of time, like that goblin cave really no issues like this there.
